Total fucking nightmare. That pretty much describes the kind of day I had.

I was scheduled for my test this morning. I was pretty pumped up and feeling really good about it. I was confident and ready to go. I get there at 8 (a half hour before the test was to begin). I go to check in, and the woman was like, "We have someone else here to take the same test as you, but I was having problems accessing the test for him. Hopefully yours works."

Nope.

Apparently there was some sort of problem on the end of the organization that sponsers the tests. A server problem, or something. Some (or maybe all) of the testing centers were having trouble downloading the tests from the organization's server. They lead us to believe that it would be something that could be easily resolved and we'd just be running a few minutes late, but finally at 10 they told us that there was still no estimated time of it being fixed, and that we would have to reschedule.

To make matters worse, we couldn't just reschedule with the testing center, we had to go through the 800 number. The women at the testing center was very nice and apologetic. She looked at the schedule for us, and unfortunately, the earliest opening they had was on April 26th, over two weeks away. (It's an independent testing facility, and I expected it to be pretty huge, but they only had like 10 or 15 testing stations. My test is 6 hours long, and it's going to be hard to hard to find a day anytime soon where a testing center has a huge block of time available for me. They administer all different kinds of tests there, so it's pretty booked all the time.)

So, I get home and call the 800 number, and I am on hold for 44 minutes - no joke. Worst customer service ever. Then I finally get a live person, only to be told I can't reschedule the test until 48 hours passes and it's reset in their system. WTF - it's not like I just decided to skip my test and wanted to reschedule. This was on them and the NASD. Not my fault at all.

So now I have to wait until Wednesday to reschedule my test, and I have to hope that no one snatches up that April 26th time before I get to it. It's just that there are only three testing centers in the entire state - the one I went to (about 20 minutes away), another one about 30 minutes away, and then one over an hour away. I have a feeling that none of them are going to have available dates any time soon.

FUCK.

I was so ready, and now I have wait. I'm so pissed and disappointed.
