I hope not long at all. The doctor said he was going to call in the morning and let me know when it would be. He said he wanted him to be seen by the end of the week if it was at all possible, which only leaves 2 days really. If he calls and says go, I'm gone! But I will keep everyone posted.

First rule: Don't panic. I know your mind is going to wander to the extreme and worst-case scenario, but try not to let it. He's young and kids are tough and resiliant.

I'm really trying not to think the worst. The doctor told my mother in law it didn't look like anything "serious", whatever that means. But I'm more worried about him having an invasive procedure at this point than to even start contemplating the outcome.
