I got a call today from Norma at Qualxserv. She said they want to deploy seats at Gulfport again, starting on Monday. *blinks* Monday? As in the day hurricane Dennis makes landfall, Monday? Yup, that's the one. HAVE THEY LOST THEIR FREAKING MINDS!!!!!!!!! *insert sarcasm* Yeah, let me just pack my bags and head on down to the coast so I can sit on my ass, while everyone else is evacuating and watch a category 4 make landfall right on top of my ass! Because, lord knows, they'll need to get those computers installed. *end sarcasm*
I've called and left Mike a message asking what the deal is. I told him that I am willing to roll seats, but not going to go down there during a hurricane. Besides that, the roads are already bad. Granted, it's everyone coming up here at this point. It's looking like it's going to affect the coast no matter where it makes landfall. And I get another call while I'm writing this wanting to know if I'll be there. Gah! They are now evacuating the Ala. coast. Yeah, uh huh, I'll be there. *snorts*
