I have no self-control
So I broke down last night and downloaded SGA. I said I wasn't going to, and then.... I just couldn't take it. I started watching it this morning before work and didn't want to leave it, but alas I ran out of time.
I was really struck by hotness of Shep in this episode (Don't worry, I still have my top lust reserved for Michael Shanks, but JF is moving up the scale rather quickly). But something really bothered me in this episode, so here goes...
What's with Jack? I mean, yes, I know he's in a bad situation, but damn. Can he be a crankier old fart? I can't tell if it's RDA playing up the sarcasm too much, or what. But he's nothing but a cranky old man to me. That's all I could see. Is there some sort of male PMS that I'm not aware of, because he seems to have caught it. The sarcasm was biting and not even remotely funny to me, but instead completely annoying.
Maybe it was just me, but it seemed way overplayed and even overwritten.
Okay, I'm done with that :)
