Randomness
I will get a pron post this afternoon, I promise! We are getting 59 today, woohoo! (means we get off an hour early with pay, or 59 minutes early.) So I get to go home and make a cheesecake for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Yummy.
I am anxiously awaiting my new car tag to come in. *pouts* I wanted it to be here before tomorrow so I could show off the tag as well as the car. But it may not make it. Bummer. They said up to 10 business days. Well, it's been 7 as of today. I suppose I can still hope it makes in the mail today. G8 SHP1 *giggles* I am too easily amused. I had a brief moment of indecision at the tax collectors office and almost changed it to "kawoosh". But, decided not to. Taxes weren't as bad as I thought they would be. Still almost $300 though. But I was fearing more like $500, so not too bad.
I did figure out that I have MP3 capability on the car stereo, so now I need to find a good program to convert my CD's to MP3's. Anyone have suggestions? I want something inexpensive and easy to use.
And I've actually been trying to write a fic again. Gah! Not sure where it came from, but it's been nagging me, so I'm trying to go with it. (Beckett/Cadman) But I have a detail that I need to iron out and would like some help from the Atlantis folks.
I have it in my head somehow, that Sheppard has called Beckett "doc" before, in conversation. Like "Hey, doc." or "Let the doc take a look at you." Am I nuts or is this canon? And otherwise, does he call him Beckett or Carson?
I guess that's all for now. I'm tired and ready for Thanksgiving lunch!
