Don't be so quick to stick daggers into Sci Fi -- so far this is just a rumor, and Sci Fi hasn't made any announcements at all about this or the show.
And if it is true, well, it's not the first time that SG-1 has been cancelled - it kept on going after the first time by going to another network, and it can do so again, if needed.
I'm reserving judgement until I read an offical Sci Fi announcement about it.
I guess I misread the article on GateWorld. I thought it stated that it was an announcement from Sci-Fi. I'll have to go back and read again. I just saw cancelled and flipped out.
It was some other place that first reported it, then apparently someone at Gateworld has confirmed it with someone connect with either Sci Fi or Stargate - of course, no names have been mentioned in either report, which is why I'm determined to take the stand that it's not truth until Sci Fi says so.
And, even if it is true, it's not the first time the show's been canceled only to find new life on another network, and I'm MGM can find another home for it -- or the movie might finally get off the ground, which would be good, too.
But it's very true about it being cancelled before. I'm even starting to wonder if it couldn't be a ratings ploy. Okay, I'm fishing, but I need something! lol.
Absolutely! I don't know what the hell they were thinking. And there may be some people out there that like that Eureka show, but I don't care for it slipping into my show's time slot just for show. Hell leave it on it's own night and be done.
I'd much rather they left it be and reran BSG episodes.

There are no words. How could they? And they renewed SGA, which isn't a quarter of the show that SG-1 is...
