(no subject)
This weekend was way too short. I didn't get half of what I needed/wanted to get done. I went back to Lane Bryant to see about my pants I wanted, and they were gone! I guess that's what I get for waiting. I couldn't believe they had sold out already. And, to add insult to injury, I found a pair of sandles that matched EXACTLY! They would have been perfect with it. Damn.
Otherwise, I cleaned some, and went to Craig's nephew's birthday party. We gave him Carter's old computer for his birthday. We cleaned it up, added some software, etc. He seemed really happy with it, so that was good.
Speaking of computers, I got my first bill in from Dell for Apollo. Can you believe they really only want $21/month at 20% interest. They really know how to make the cash. Anyway, I sent off $300. I still don't know why I let Craig talk me into financing. He said to do it to help rebuild credit, since we had a debt consolidation. So, I suppose it will help, maybe.
Everyone is talking about the Oscar's. *insert sarcasm* Whooppee! Not! *end sarcasm* I've seen several people talk about how great they thought Jon Stewart was. I guess I'm alone in my opinion of him. I found his jokes to be distasteful and/or not funny at all. And, honestly, he didn't seem to be getting that many laughs, not compared to past shows anyway. But, to each his own. Maybe I'm getting too old or something.
Didn't really have any opinion on what won or didn't win either. My mother has been after me for months to see "Crash" already anyway, now she's really going to be all over me about it.
