WHO: Kitty, Nao Yuuki, Sara Pezzini, Illyana (towards the end)
WHERE: An Arcade in San Dimas, California
WHEN: Saturday Evening, January 20th, 2007
WHAT: A trip to an arcade where a new game system is being demo'd goes horribly horribly wrong.
WATCH FOR: .. Everything?
If they're going to a bar, they have to take Illyana along with them! Kitty promised not to go to any bars without her. :D "This would be so much easier if I could phase.." She mutters under her breath as Nao climbs onto her back. Kitty jumps, Nao jumps -- (The fact that the spidercat followed orders is a momentus occasion! Mark it on your calendar!) -- and when the button is pressed, all traffic (and the lilly pads and logs) stop. A time starts on the top of the screen, counting down from thirty, and when Nao starts hopping, Kitty is quick to follow. "Nao? Okay." She's inordinately pleased at getting the real name. Surprised, but pleased. "This is utter madness -" Kitty huffs. "We've got ten seconds before that time runs out," Kitty calls to Sara and Nao, "Maybe we can get across -" she LEAPS! Lillypad, to log to log, to lil-*slipSPLOOSH!* And Kittyfrog vanishes. She'll be back, promise.
Sara is right behind Lily!Kitty. Leaping forward, she lands on the crocodile as it pops back up, which is what Kitty was trying to jump after. "Kate!" Sara croaks in worry, just as something leaps on her back.
Oh, hello little pink frog. C.C;
Unable to backtrack now, she ends up leaping into one of the corrals, making the <3 shape, since she had a rider. ICK. No, we're drinking at home. In bathrobes. After Sara gets a LONG shower.
"Slow down!" Nao calls out to Kitty, only to sigh when she vanishes. She proceeds a little more slowly, riding one log almost too long while waiting for the second one to roll past. She makes it to the last log, but then actually jumps back again! It's too much pressure! If she doesn't time it just right, she won't make it safely into her own little corral.
Blipblipblip; Kittyfrog appears on the other side of the river, looking annoyed. ".. how .. in the name of Zot.. does a frog DROWN in WATER? I'm a -FROG-!" Still, She sees Sara in her corrall, and Nao heading for hers, so she quickly hophops after, safely. Once all three frogs are in the corral, there's a cute little chiming music and...
"HELLO!" Tutorial Holoman is back! Didn't you miss him?
(OOC) Sara Pezzini says, "HE'S THE FRIGGING KEEPER FROM EXILES."
(OOC) Sara Pezzini MURDERS.
Sara FLICKS out her tongue to try to strike the Holoman and EAT him. This fails of course, he's a Hologram. But it makes her feel so much better. "What, we get a tutorial on this but NOT ZOMBIES IN THE MALL?"
Nao is just thankful to make it to her little corral safely this time. Sigh. But then holoman appears again. He'd better not promise help because Nao won't believe him! If she could summon her claws and hop back out... The little chime is nice though. And infectous. Nao might end up with that as a ringtone, provided she isn't stomped by Donkey Kong before it's all over.
That's a sentiment Kitty is ready to duplicate herself. ;.; The Holoman just keeps smiling, even after the tongue briefly causes his form to break up. "Ffzzaajaja. :D :D Tutorial on Stage 1: Zombies. When the game begins you will find yourself in a mall surrounded by zombies. Several colorful key orbs are located above your heads. Collect these key orbs to purchase a weapon. Occasionally you will find a shining thjing when destroying public proper-proper-proper-ty-ty-ty. Properttt-t-t-t-ty. Hello, and Welcome to Extraction! To start the game, Insert fifty yen! Yen, Yen, Yen! Error, fault 01010101110011011011.." The Holoman is briefly replaced by a large blue block.
"Did he just get BSOD'd?" Kitty wonders.
A few seconds later of nothing, save for an irritating droning tone like someone is drawing out the letter 'e'. "Um..." >.>;; Did the game stall? Are they STUCK like this?
"I am so feeding you to a crocodile if we are, Kitty!" Sara promises, before croaking again. Someone.. SOMEONE will face her wrath for this, oh yes. "I'm almost ready to start to jumping in the water or in front of a car or something - just to see if we keep dying, if we get kicked out of the game." she sighs in frustration. Ribbit.
"We're already past that, idiot!" >.<; At least she hopes they're past the zombies for good. Not that this is much better! Nao blinks at the blue block and again at that annoying tone. "I'm with you!" Nao had rather be dead than stuck as a frog forever! "After all, we're not really here, right?" She reasons, trying to make herself feel better with it. "We're just wearing those stupid visors inside that stupid game!" That's right losers, she called you VR...whatever stupid! "It's all an illusion!" She knows a thing or two about those. People are always getting caught up in hers, eheh.
"It's not MY fault! It's that guy!" Kitty protest-ribbits! A fly nearby buzzes, and her tongue automatically snaps out. *gup*
"...."
"........"
....... oh god. Kittyfrog starts to turn a paler shade of green, "I think I'm gonna -"
All of a sudden, the blue box vanishes and a large text box reading, 'Stage Complete!' drops down, accompanied by a happy little chime. This time the surroundings change again, only the colors are almost monocrome. There's a platform over a pool of lava, and several smaller platforms located throughout. All players are also perched on ostrich-like characters, and armed with lances. They're also on several different platforms - Nao and Sara are in white, while Kitty, on the opposite side, is in blue.
HoloMan is back too! Standing at the dead center of the screen on an ostrich of his own, with a lance in his hands. "Fault Error 39290A105921: players.dll, unable to read. Begin combat." He launches off of the platform and makes a beeline for one of the girls. ATTAAAAAAAAAACK!
Kitty meanwhile, is busy being /sick/. She swallowed a FLY D:
...what? Finding herself sitting on an ostrich, Sara makes a face. "What the?" she asks in confusion as she tries to get used to being in the saddle. Sure, Lara took her horse riding a few times, but that was different circumstances. A second squawk of indiginity is given at the cheap armor that is on her - that if her player recalls right, didn't cover much anyway on girls.
There's a pause as she tries to figure this out, walking back and forth with the ostrich, and bumps into Nao, bouncing off of her and skids backwards. "Ack, sorry!"
"...so.. ah.. what do we do this time?" she asks in complete fusion, tapping the sides of her ostrich. "...ah.. giddy up?"
And off Sara's Ostrch runs. Right into the lava. Kaboom.
Outside, gamerboys howl with laughter.
"Girls can't play!"
"She went right into the lava!"
"PWNED, NOOB!"
Sara respawns on an upper level, looking none too happy.
Nao holds her breath out of fear when things start to change -- at least at first. And then she holds her breath because she's riding an ostrich. Come on, it's an ostrich! You know it can't smell that great. "I've had enough!" The HiME growls. Bitten by zombies, chased by weiners, turned into a FROG. And if she could hear those guys...just fuel to the fire.
But Nao's shock has faded enough for her to resume her usual attitude. "It's time to fight!" The tutorial said so! And she's not just gonna lay down and die. She runs back and forth with her ostrich, skidding a few times until she's gotten the hang of being in the saddle. And then she starts to run again, completely off the edge! She's gonna hit the lava! But then her ostrich starts flapping his wings. ~.~ It's on now.
The redhead has to fly across before she's actually able to lift. But once she does she has her lance aimed right at Holoman. "I've been wanting to do this for awhile!"
Nao Yuuki hits Kitty Pryde with her Joust! attack.

Poor Sara. But now their lives are down to two! Unless someone gets an extra life, they might be in trouble! HoloMan is surprisingly solid this time around, and if he had the emotions for it, he'd be busy cackling at Sara landing in the lava. HA HA HA -ahem.
The joust strikes! And the Holoman on his bird wobbles, flapping backwards a few. The ostriches wings flapflap, gaining altitude, and then speed when he turns and flappity flaps to attack Nao from behind!
Meanwhile Kitty hasn't budged an inch, clutching her ostrich in horror. "I..can still taste it.." T_T

Sara pauses for a moment, as she looks left. She looks right. She's alone up here. And down below her. Well, besides the lava.. is a Kitty. She's just sitting there, all :P :O ;.;
Sara settles for a moment, and then, she runs the Ostrich forward, off of the edge of the Platfrom. Fly like.. a brick. She drops straight down, and towards her loving sister. Down, down, look out, Kitty!
"BONZAI!!!!"

"Hey! Dammit!" Nao wobbles when his attack hits but thankfully doesn't fall off her ostrich. She urges her bird on, flying faster in an attempt to get so far ahead of him that she actually ends up behind Holoman. o.o; The redhead lifts a little bit, trying to be the higher of two lances this time.

(OOC) Kitty Pryde says, "Wow. You guys must be -really- mad :D"
There's a shadow on the ground. And it's not hers. Kitty blinks, dragging herself out of her moment of 'ogodthegross' to stare at the shadow. And then up, shrieking in surprise when she gets Ostrichbombed! Her ostrich Squawks and skids forward, with Kitty grabbing the reins and digging her heels in just in time for it to start flapping. Phew. She almost ran right into the lava! The ostrich flapflapflaps a few more times, and Kitty shoots a look at her sister, "What was that for!?!" Not that she's really upset. In fact, she's kinda..having fun. n.n; Weirdo.
Landing on an upper platform, Kitty taps her heels against the ostrich's sides, sending him or her charging forward - leap! and down onto the lower level. CHARGE!!!
Meanwhile the Holoman has YET to turn into an egg! Which is odd because they usually do after a couple of strikes. Must be on a higher level. But strangely the HoloJouster is flying a lot faster after that second strike! He's streaking across the screen (not literally) zooming at the speed of..birdflight. Touching off the platforms, he jumps, jumps again, and DIVES at Nao! :O

"That was for dragging me here!" Sara protests loudly as she grins ferally at her sister. Oh, that made her feel so much better. Really, it did. As she gets rammed into in return, Sara OOFs, pushed backwards along the ground. "Oh no you didn't!" she says in loud protest, before she smirks. "So.. you wanna play that way, hmm?" she asks.
Reining the ostrich, she pulls it up into the air.. and remembers that the people outside can hear them. "..HEY, GUYS! This is my little sister! And she's SINGLE~!"
And then she divebombs poor kitty.
Sara Pezzini misses Kitty Pryde with her LAWL. PIMPING YOU OUT. attack.
Nao loses sight of the Holo for a moment and doesn't spot him again until it's nearly too late. "Ah!" She holds tight to her ostrich as it's bumped down towards the lava. The crimson bubbles and almost ensnares them, but not before Nao can get the bird to rise again! "Sonofa..." The redhead mutters and grits her teeth as she lifts to the nearest platform. She runs back and forth across it a couple of times to build up her momentum. She's not making the mistake of losing sight of him again though. "There he is! Go Julia!" Because that's her ostrich's name of course! They jump off the platform, flap-flapping towards their sworn enemy. Because of course Nao would want to fight the man. ~.~
Nao Yuuki misses Kitty Pryde with her Bird vs. Birdbrain attack.
"Heey! I didn't know we'd get stuck in virtual reality! You can't blame me for that!" Kitty can't help but giggle - after all, she's never had a sibling! And even though Sara isn't -really- her sister, it's fun to pretend! When her bird BOOFs into Sara's, Kitty has the audacity to stick her tongue out, "NYAAAacccck!" Her taunt ends in a strangled noise. "Y.. you -didn't-. That's playing dirty!" Kitty protests, sputtering.
Outside, the crowd of guys PERK. "Dude. She's kinda cute."
"Single too! The redhead's hot though."
"I like her sister."
"Dude, you don't know what you're talking about! The sister fell in the lava, and her friend got squashed in -FROGGER-."
"Dude, Kate drowned in Frogger."
"So? That water's a mean obstacle man! I'm gonna totally ask her out."
"No way man, I'm Going to! You have a girl already!"
"So?"
Commence the pushing and shoving. Carl sweats a bit more - maybe if the girls wind up having fun in there after all, they won't kill him?
Meanwhile back in the game, Kitty spurs her ostrich forward JUST in time to avoid the divebomb. "HA! Nice try!" Kitty mock sneers, reining the bird around and getting a running start, attempting to ram her 'sis' again. >:EHoloJouster mocks Nao! MOCKS!!! No really. He actually half rises out of his bird's saddle and slaps his bum at her. HUR HUR! And off they go, Nao chasing him down as he flies across the screen! Just when Nao's almost got him, he abruptly stops flying, landing on the platform below, and Nao shoots past him. As she goes overhead, he swings his lance upwards to smack the bird. >:E

Ack, rammed again! Sara smirks, looking over at her pretend 'sister'. The kid is cute. And they do look a lot a like. And share similar interests. Oh, why not just go with the flow. There may come a day when they do need to rely on each other in a sisterly fashion.
"What?" she asks innocently. "I thought those type of guys interested you. Why else would you willingly walk into an arcade. What's next, I'm gonna find out that you and your roommates have role play nights in your lingerie in the home?" That's just to taunt those poor drooling idiots.
She charges in, bumping back into Kitty, trying to shove her backwards. Anyway, can you just see the imagery? I don't think the nerds can. Lingerie and D&D just doesn't mix~

It's bad enough that she missed, but now he's mocking her too?! Nao glares as he teases her and then goes flying off. The redhead gives chase, oblivious to the debate going on between the boys. And that's definitely for the best. Her ostrich squawks as it's smacked, sending a few feathers down into the lava. "Julia!" The HiME cries out before pulling on her mount's reigns to redirect her course...back to Holoman! She's not having as much fun as the 'sisters' but she's taking the game seriously at least!
Nao Yuuki hits Kitty Pryde with her Stick this up your....!! attack.

At least seven of the nerds watching the screen have nosebleeds and keel over from the imagery of Sara's words. *.*;; An ambulance is quickly called. "Are you nuts?" Kitty laughs, "There's nothing wrong with arcades," by which she means the establishment, and not the Freak that had a crush on her :( "But the sweaty guys in them are -SO- not my speed. If I'm gonna be interested in a guy, I'm not going to find him here." And to emphasize her point, she raises her lance and . . pokes at her friend.
Meanwhile! The air battle between Holoman and Nao is fast and furious! His flap-flap-flapping carries him across the screen, but he's too late to get out of the way of Nao's attack! The lance jabs, and the ostrich Holoman is on squawks! The blow knocks them both off balance, and he crashes into the side of the platform, which must be sharper than one might expect, because..
*BOOM!* Look ma, an egg!
Kitty looks up at the sound, grinning, "Hey! She did it!" While they were goofing off. n.n; Well the important thing is that they won, right..? They can leave now -- she hopes. Taking the reins of the bird, she starts to fly up to check on Nao, "Are you okay?"

Sara.. heaves a sigh of relief. Kitty bringing home a nerd boy would be awkward, especially on the days when the girls wanted to go swimming, or if Sara just wants to lounge around in a robe, with a tub of Chunkey Monkey Ice cream and watch Lifetime movies for the afternoon.
What, it happens sometime in these moods!
And as she moves along, she pokes Kitty back with the lance.
"Can we go home now?"
Sara Pezzini misses Kitty Pryde with her *poke~* feint.
Nao blinks at the egg, looking a little smug that she was finally able to turn Holoman into that. Only now she has to collect it! Nao lands her ostrich and runs over it before skidding across the platform. From there she just turns and walks. She's actually strutting on an ostrich. u.u; But finally she takes flight again, rising to the level of Kitty and Sara. "Is that everyone?" She turns her bird back and forth, actually looking for more opponents, eheh. But that's just how she is! Especially after she's won.
Despite the fact that +code says that was a miss, Kitty oofs anyway. She either actually got poked, or she was only pretending. Probably the former. From her perch at the upper center of the platform, Kitty grins at Nao when she collects the egg and starts to strut. "You know, I didn't think you could do that on an ostrich." To Sara, Kitty nods, "I hope so. I don't want to play games for the rest of my life - I have things to do, and goodness knows what's happening with our bodies out there." Plus Lockheed will be worried sick, and not to mention Illyana.
There is silence at first; not even a stage complete sound! ANd then, without preamble, the room starts shaking, breaking into multiple pieces. "Oh what -NOW-?" Kitty growls. Then yelps in surprise when the platfrom, the ostriches -everything- suddenly vanishes, depositing her on her duff in a field. And directly ahead of the trio? A Gigas. A biga## Gigas. And he looks cranky. >:E
Sara smirks. "Anyone tries anything with me.." she whispers to Kitty, "And the Witchblade will eat them." She gets a >:D smile, just as things start to fall apart. "..guess this wasn't the portal home, Ziggy." she says with a frown.. and then.
"..what the hell is that?" she asks the two game players, pointing at Gigas. Why couldn't she keep that weapon from Zombie land. Or the ostrich. Or even the pepper. She looks at Kitty and Nao. "I don't think punching it will help much."
Nao can strut on anything! If she can look smug on a giant green spider of all things... When Kitty mentions their bodies, the redhead actually looks concerned. She hadn't thought of that before. Way to go Kitty! But then everything starts falling away, warning them of yet another change. "Great..." She mutters, but whatever she was going to say next is lost when she spots the Gigas. "...." Speechless. And that's quite an accomplishment when it comes to Nao! Not that she's not completely confident that they can beat it, mind you. >.>;
Kitty Pryde grins at Sara.
"DUDE! That other hot chick made a Quantum Leap references! I think I'm in love!" <3 Cries someone from outside.
"It looks.. like some kind of giant?" Kitty puzzles. "I'm not familiar with this game though.." And they have no weapons. "Oh this is going to suck.." Curiously, there's a loud *PING* interrupting the battle. Best part? A treasure box suddenly appears in front of the trio. The Gigas hasn't approached them yet, so they'll have time to open the prize if they want to (Hint, you want to!).
Sara pauses at the ping, and looks down at the box. "Let's open it up and see if we get some treasure before we die at least, huh?" the detective ask as she leans down to open the chest and see what's inside, one eye watching the Gigas warily.
Treasure? Now that has Nao's interest! She hurries over, practically forgetting the Gigas since it hasn't done anything yet. "Open it up!" If you need to pick the lock, Nao probably knows how. ~.~ "We split whatever's in there three ways!" In case anyone gets any other funny ideas.
Clearly, she's forgotten that said treasure isn't -real-.
"Oh good, I always wanted to be rich before I died." Kitty utters, crowding around the box with the others. Sara opens the box, which emits a faint golden glow, and three objects can be found. When Sara reaches in, she'll find.. a shining silver sword!When Nao reaches in, she'll find a set of mithril claws with the blades pointed read. And when Kitty reaches in, she finds.. a dragon plush. "What th.."
Another text box drops down, pinging noisily. It reads:
Player Sara acquires spell: SUMMON WITCHBLADE
Player Juliet acquires spell: SUMMON JULIA
Player Kate acquires spell: SUMMON LOCKHEED
And for some reason, all three players are compelled to hoist their found items aloft for all the world to see. Kitty HURKS as she clutches her plush high over her head. "What the heck!?"
Now that the heroes are outfitted though, they draw the attention of the Gigas. Who lumbers towards the trio, as the treasure chest vanishes. >:E
Time to kick ass ladies.
Taking out the silver sword, Sara gets a viscious little grin. "Well, gals. Looks like we just had the odds evened." she offers to the others. "Shall we start the process of dismantling this oversized jerk?"
That's Nao's favorite time. <3 Though she does arch a brow at Kitty's...plush dragon? "Yeah, that's gonna come in real handy." She murmurs. Oh well. That just leaves more for her! And now that she's got her claws, she's feeling a lot better. "Yeah, I'm inclined to agree." She smirks and nods along with Sara before rushing towards the Gigas. She's not one to waste any time, especially when it comes to battle!
Nao Yuuki hits Kitty Pryde with her First Blood attack.

"Sounds lovely," Kitty grins, though she eyes the plushie in her hands with a puzzled frown. "Okay why do they get swords and claws, and I get a friggin' toy. Someone up there hates me."
The Gigas roars once, raising a massive arm, stumbling back a step as Nao gets the first strike, blood driping down its arm. GRR. That massive fist slams downward again, aiming to strike at the attacking girls.

Sara starts to move with Nao to charge in.. then it's her turn to see a shadow. She gives a squawk of protest, just as the massive fist slams down. She's able to avoid the majority of it, but in the end, she only catches the side of a knucle and some thrown earth. Landing on the ground, she slowly forces herself to her feet, and snarls. "That the best you got?" she asks, clutching the sword in her hand. And then she starts to charge..
And just then, the SUMMON WITCHBLADE happens. The silver sword melds into her hand, and starts to form armor around her body and form the usual bladed fingers. Unfortunately, as the bladed armor forms, it rips through her clothing, tattering it up. She's still decent - just less so.
Leaping upwards, she slashes at the Giant's angle and then continues to run forward, her blade held at the ready as she draws in a series of deep breaths.
Sara Pezzini switches armor modes to Witchblade.
Sara Pezzini hits Kitty Pryde with her Attacking Your Ankle! attack.

Nao sees the fist slamming down and merely twirst her body at the last moment. The redhead laughs as she feels nothing but the breeze from the monster's fist. "You missed." <3 The HiME points out, pausing just long enough to give her claws a lick. And then she thrusts her hand forward, red threads flying from the claws to wrap around the giant's arm.
Three more fanboys bust into nosebleeds and collapse, joining the ranks of those that fainted earlier. Carl meanwhile, glances at the screen, and then the enclosed seats that the three fighters are motionlessly resting in. "I'm a dead man. ;.;" Quickly he turns back to the terminal with his assistant, working on making the repairs.
Meanwhile, the Gigas snarls as the sword slices its ankle, adding to one already bleeding wound on its arm. Its strike misses Nao entirely, which seems to annoy it, and this gives Nao the chance to wrap threads from the claws around its arm. It doesn't really hurt much - or budge the arm at all. So the giant seeks to yank RIGHT back, jerking on its arm and swinging Nao (if she's still connected) at Sara.

Nao slams into Sara's exposed back, before the Witchblade armor can move to protect her. The detective/demon hunter gives a cry of pain, as she rolls off the ground and gets back to her feet. "Hit it with everything you got, Nao!" she calls out to the red head as she lifts up her right arm.
The armor shifts, folding around her hand, and a cannon barrel opens. The tip of it glows red for just a moment, and then from it, a blast of Hellfire leaps out towards the Gigas. "Let's do this, girls!"
Sara Pezzini critically strikes Kitty Pryde with her LAWL, BURN. attack.

Nao's feet skid over the ground as the Gigas yanks back against her threads and slams her into Sara. It wasn't enough to make her let go though. "Dammit." The redhead grits her teeth, already prepared to do exactly as the other suggested. Her other hand is flung forward, sending more glowing red wires towards the Gigas. This time she's ready to pull harder -- hard enough to slice through the monster's virtual body.
Nao Yuuki gets a glancing blow on Kitty Pryde with her Broken Puppet attack.

Wow I'm glad that's not /me/, Kitty muses. Eyeing the plushie in her hands, she wrinkles her nose. "Might as well give it a shot." It -DID- say Summon Lockheed after all. Tossing the dragonplush into the air, she decides to be a little fancy, clapping her hands together, "Lockheed!" The strange thing here is that the plush.. suddenly becomes less plushy, that soft cottony fabric becoming leathery, more lifelike. The dragon plush turned dragon screeches, twisting in the air and circling around to land on Kitty's shoulder. o O ( What do you know, it worked! ) Kitty grins, points at the Gigas. "GO!"
Lockheed screeches again, mini dragon that he is, and launches off of Kitty's shoulder, sending a fireblast at the Gigas. This in combined with Sara's attack causes the Gigas to reel, howling in pain - oh the fire! Its chest hairs! It's back hairs! Its everything is BURNING! The threads shot out from Nao grab onto the Gigas' arm. The wires tighten, tighten.. and sever the Gigas' arm! E's a gusher! But it still has another arm! However it's not using the arm to attack - instead the Gigas *STOMPS* at the two >:E

Keeping with the dodging just a little too late, the foot hits up against Sara, scraping her side as she gets knocked backwards, landing on her rump. "Nao!" She calls out as she adjusts the cannon back into blades. "Is there any way that you can tie that things ankle's together or hold it place?!"
As she calls out, she leaps high off the ground, and tries to gain a foothold in the creature's side to continue on the way upwards.

Nao's eyes widen when she sees the monster about to stomp her. And then..it does stomp her. o.o; She goes flying from the impact, rolling over and over again. She knows she has to get back onto her feet quickly though. The HiME pushes herself up, glaring at the Gigas as she listens to Sara's plan. "Y-yeah...!" She pushes herself onto her knees and sends more glowing threads at the creature, aiming to wrap around his ankles this time.

"Wow, what a mess." Illyana walks into the arcade and nudges one of the fallen fanboys with a foot. She doesn't want to use her hands. They might infect her or something! "Kitty! Are you here, Kitty?" The Russian girl steps over another one, wrinkling her nose in distaste. But wait... there's something going on up there! And it looks interesting. There's Kitty, and Sara, and... some readhead. After a moment of watching, Illyana grabs for the arm of the nearest observer. "Hey, tell me about this game. What's going on in there?"
Currently, the scoreboard has Nao's health down to fifty percent, Sara's down to 80, and Kitty at 75 only because she's been attacking at a far range. Sara leaps up the side of the giant, another strike gouging an injury in the beastie >:E Kitty sprints towards Nao when the Gigas' foot comes up again, wincing, "You okay, Nao?" She's about to help the girl up, when Nao sends those threads at the monster, successfully tying up those legs. The beast wobbles furiously, which is when Lockheed comes in for another air strike >:E RAHAHHA!
One of the observers tugged by Illyana turns, "Well that guy Carl there? Was demoing a game, and those three on the screen were volunteered. Only something went wrong with the system and they got locked inside; Carl's working on it-"
"AHA!!" There's the sound of locks disengaging from the seats that the girls are resting in. On the screen, Lockheed sends a blast of fire at the Gigas again, and the beast stumbles back, hitting the ground roughly. It doesn't get up - instead there's a rumbling as the body dissipates into pixels. Again it seems that there's nothing, but after a moment, a door of light appears in the center of the stage, and a fairy pops into existence throwing confetti, "HOOORAY! YOU WIN THE INTERNETS! Hey! Look! Listen!" She points at the door, and darts back out again. Anyone who passes through that door will wake up in their seat again, completely unharmed, and will be able to step out of said seats. FREEDOM!

And then the Witchblade bearer makes her way through the door and back to the fully clothed real world, dammit. >.<

Nao holds tight, prepared to slice and dice after Sara if needed. But then it's Game Over. It takes a moment for the disoriented feeling to pass but as soon as it does the redhead tosses her visor aside. Let's see, what's the count tonight -- she's been bitten by zombies, chased by hot dogs and eggs, rode a ostrich, and been stomped. Yeah, that about sums it up. The HiME steps through the door with only one thought and one question.
"Where the hell is Carl?"
Someone go ahead and notify his next of kin.
"Something... went... wrong?" Illyana's eyes begin to blank out white as she slowly looks toward Carl. It's a good thing he fixes it right then, or she might have had to do something Kitty wouldn't approve of. "Oh.. it's fixed!" She pats the helpful observer on the shoulder and advances toward the game.
When Nao gets up, Illyana jerks a thumb over her shoulder. There he is! Get him! After subjecting her friend to such danger, Carl deserves anything the redhead is going to do to him!
But Illyana has other priorities! Before Kitty can get up from her seat, Illyana slips in and wraps her arms around her friend from behind, chirping happily, "Katya~ Guess who?"
That look from Illyana is all it takes for Carl to hightail it the hell out of the arcade T_T He runs ever faster when he hears Nao's cry of FURY. And for the redhead's benefit, at least Illyana is there to point the way! When Kitty passes through the door, there's a moment's disorientation as her eyes open and take a moment to adjust.
A voice chirps from behind. "Katya~~~ Guess who?"
Kitty grins wearily, "Can't imagine!" She reaches up to squeeze her friend's arm in greeting. "Must be the Easter Bunny." Oh! She can hear Nao hunting Carl down, but .. "Is Sara okay?"
Sara looks at Illyana and Kitty, even as she flicks the visor aside. As much as she wants to get to shredding - she's a good cop, so she behaves. /However/. As she looks back at her housemates. "I'm going home. Soaking in the shower. Getting out the Amaretto and the deck of cards. Poker. Loser of each hand has to answer a prying personal question asked by the hand's winner. You two in?"
"Too early for Easter." Illyana grins and bumps her forehead against the back of Kitty's head before letting the brunette go. "Seems okay to me!" She considers the offer of the game, glancing from cop to Kit. "That sounds like fun. I'm in if you are."
Kitty Pryde giggles at the headbump, and climbs out of the game, stretching. "Sounds like fun," she agrees, slinging an arm around Illyana. And eyes, "Yana.. do I want to know why there's a bunch of geeks and nerds passed out over there?" Back to Sara, "Man, I haven't played poker in a while. If you're going to ask a prying personal question, I think we should have the option to pass - there are some things we might not want to discuss." They all have their demons after all - some more than others. "Fair?"
"Fair." Sara agrees, gathering up the few bags she has to before she gets ready to leave.
Then she thinks to add. "Any and all questions on Logan are off the table, then."

WHAT: A trip to an arcade where a new game system is being demo'd goes horribly horribly wrong.
WATCH FOR: .. Everything?
If they're going to a bar, they have to take Illyana along with them! Kitty promised not to go to any bars without her. :D "This would be so much easier if I could phase.." She mutters under her breath as Nao climbs onto her back. Kitty jumps, Nao jumps -- (The fact that the spidercat followed orders is a momentus occasion! Mark it on your calendar!) -- and when the button is pressed, all traffic (and the lilly pads and logs) stop. A time starts on the top of the screen, counting down from thirty, and when Nao starts hopping, Kitty is quick to follow. "Nao? Okay." She's inordinately pleased at getting the real name. Surprised, but pleased. "This is utter madness -" Kitty huffs. "We've got ten seconds before that time runs out," Kitty calls to Sara and Nao, "Maybe we can get across -" she LEAPS! Lillypad, to log to log, to lil-*slipSPLOOSH!* And Kittyfrog vanishes. She'll be back, promise.
Sara is right behind Lily!Kitty. Leaping forward, she lands on the crocodile as it pops back up, which is what Kitty was trying to jump after. "Kate!" Sara croaks in worry, just as something leaps on her back.

Unable to backtrack now, she ends up leaping into one of the corrals, making the <3 shape, since she had a rider. ICK. No, we're drinking at home. In bathrobes. After Sara gets a LONG shower.
"Slow down!" Nao calls out to Kitty, only to sigh when she vanishes. She proceeds a little more slowly, riding one log almost too long while waiting for the second one to roll past. She makes it to the last log, but then actually jumps back again! It's too much pressure! If she doesn't time it just right, she won't make it safely into her own little corral.
Blipblipblip; Kittyfrog appears on the other side of the river, looking annoyed. ".. how .. in the name of Zot.. does a frog DROWN in WATER? I'm a -FROG-!" Still, She sees Sara in her corrall, and Nao heading for hers, so she quickly hophops after, safely. Once all three frogs are in the corral, there's a cute little chiming music and...
"HELLO!" Tutorial Holoman is back! Didn't you miss him?
(OOC) Sara Pezzini says, "HE'S THE FRIGGING KEEPER FROM EXILES."

Sara FLICKS out her tongue to try to strike the Holoman and EAT him. This fails of course, he's a Hologram. But it makes her feel so much better. "What, we get a tutorial on this but NOT ZOMBIES IN THE MALL?"
Nao is just thankful to make it to her little corral safely this time. Sigh. But then holoman appears again. He'd better not promise help because Nao won't believe him! If she could summon her claws and hop back out... The little chime is nice though. And infectous. Nao might end up with that as a ringtone, provided she isn't stomped by Donkey Kong before it's all over.
That's a sentiment Kitty is ready to duplicate herself. ;.; The Holoman just keeps smiling, even after the tongue briefly causes his form to break up. "Ffzzaajaja. :D :D Tutorial on Stage 1: Zombies. When the game begins you will find yourself in a mall surrounded by zombies. Several colorful key orbs are located above your heads. Collect these key orbs to purchase a weapon. Occasionally you will find a shining thjing when destroying public proper-proper-proper-ty-ty-ty. Properttt-t-t-t-ty. Hello, and Welcome to Extraction! To start the game, Insert fifty yen! Yen, Yen, Yen! Error, fault 01010101110011011011.." The Holoman is briefly replaced by a large blue block.
"Did he just get BSOD'd?" Kitty wonders.
A few seconds later of nothing, save for an irritating droning tone like someone is drawing out the letter 'e'. "Um..." >.>;; Did the game stall? Are they STUCK like this?
"I am so feeding you to a crocodile if we are, Kitty!" Sara promises, before croaking again. Someone.. SOMEONE will face her wrath for this, oh yes. "I'm almost ready to start to jumping in the water or in front of a car or something - just to see if we keep dying, if we get kicked out of the game." she sighs in frustration. Ribbit.
"We're already past that, idiot!" >.<; At least she hopes they're past the zombies for good. Not that this is much better! Nao blinks at the blue block and again at that annoying tone. "I'm with you!" Nao had rather be dead than stuck as a frog forever! "After all, we're not really here, right?" She reasons, trying to make herself feel better with it. "We're just wearing those stupid visors inside that stupid game!" That's right losers, she called you VR...whatever stupid! "It's all an illusion!" She knows a thing or two about those. People are always getting caught up in hers, eheh.
"It's not MY fault! It's that guy!" Kitty protest-ribbits! A fly nearby buzzes, and her tongue automatically snaps out. *gup*

....... oh god. Kittyfrog starts to turn a paler shade of green, "I think I'm gonna -"
All of a sudden, the blue box vanishes and a large text box reading, 'Stage Complete!' drops down, accompanied by a happy little chime. This time the surroundings change again, only the colors are almost monocrome. There's a platform over a pool of lava, and several smaller platforms located throughout. All players are also perched on ostrich-like characters, and armed with lances. They're also on several different platforms - Nao and Sara are in white, while Kitty, on the opposite side, is in blue.
HoloMan is back too! Standing at the dead center of the screen on an ostrich of his own, with a lance in his hands. "Fault Error 39290A105921: players.dll, unable to read. Begin combat." He launches off of the platform and makes a beeline for one of the girls. ATTAAAAAAAAAACK!
Kitty meanwhile, is busy being /sick/. She swallowed a FLY D:
...what? Finding herself sitting on an ostrich, Sara makes a face. "What the?" she asks in confusion as she tries to get used to being in the saddle. Sure, Lara took her horse riding a few times, but that was different circumstances. A second squawk of indiginity is given at the cheap armor that is on her - that if her player recalls right, didn't cover much anyway on girls.
There's a pause as she tries to figure this out, walking back and forth with the ostrich, and bumps into Nao, bouncing off of her and skids backwards. "Ack, sorry!"
"...so.. ah.. what do we do this time?" she asks in complete fusion, tapping the sides of her ostrich. "...ah.. giddy up?"
And off Sara's Ostrch runs. Right into the lava. Kaboom.
Outside, gamerboys howl with laughter.
"Girls can't play!"
"She went right into the lava!"
"PWNED, NOOB!"
Sara respawns on an upper level, looking none too happy.
Nao holds her breath out of fear when things start to change -- at least at first. And then she holds her breath because she's riding an ostrich. Come on, it's an ostrich! You know it can't smell that great. "I've had enough!" The HiME growls. Bitten by zombies, chased by weiners, turned into a FROG. And if she could hear those guys...just fuel to the fire.
But Nao's shock has faded enough for her to resume her usual attitude. "It's time to fight!" The tutorial said so! And she's not just gonna lay down and die. She runs back and forth with her ostrich, skidding a few times until she's gotten the hang of being in the saddle. And then she starts to run again, completely off the edge! She's gonna hit the lava! But then her ostrich starts flapping his wings. ~.~ It's on now.
The redhead has to fly across before she's actually able to lift. But once she does she has her lance aimed right at Holoman. "I've been wanting to do this for awhile!"
Nao Yuuki hits Kitty Pryde with her Joust! attack.

Poor Sara. But now their lives are down to two! Unless someone gets an extra life, they might be in trouble! HoloMan is surprisingly solid this time around, and if he had the emotions for it, he'd be busy cackling at Sara landing in the lava. HA HA HA -ahem.
The joust strikes! And the Holoman on his bird wobbles, flapping backwards a few. The ostriches wings flapflap, gaining altitude, and then speed when he turns and flappity flaps to attack Nao from behind!
Meanwhile Kitty hasn't budged an inch, clutching her ostrich in horror. "I..can still taste it.." T_T

Sara pauses for a moment, as she looks left. She looks right. She's alone up here. And down below her. Well, besides the lava.. is a Kitty. She's just sitting there, all :P :O ;.;
Sara settles for a moment, and then, she runs the Ostrich forward, off of the edge of the Platfrom. Fly like.. a brick. She drops straight down, and towards her loving sister. Down, down, look out, Kitty!

"Hey! Dammit!" Nao wobbles when his attack hits but thankfully doesn't fall off her ostrich. She urges her bird on, flying faster in an attempt to get so far ahead of him that she actually ends up behind Holoman. o.o; The redhead lifts a little bit, trying to be the higher of two lances this time.

There's a shadow on the ground. And it's not hers. Kitty blinks, dragging herself out of her moment of 'ogodthegross' to stare at the shadow. And then up, shrieking in surprise when she gets Ostrichbombed! Her ostrich Squawks and skids forward, with Kitty grabbing the reins and digging her heels in just in time for it to start flapping. Phew. She almost ran right into the lava! The ostrich flapflapflaps a few more times, and Kitty shoots a look at her sister, "What was that for!?!" Not that she's really upset. In fact, she's kinda..having fun. n.n; Weirdo.
Landing on an upper platform, Kitty taps her heels against the ostrich's sides, sending him or her charging forward - leap! and down onto the lower level. CHARGE!!!
Meanwhile the Holoman has YET to turn into an egg! Which is odd because they usually do after a couple of strikes. Must be on a higher level. But strangely the HoloJouster is flying a lot faster after that second strike! He's streaking across the screen (not literally) zooming at the speed of..birdflight. Touching off the platforms, he jumps, jumps again, and DIVES at Nao! :O

"That was for dragging me here!" Sara protests loudly as she grins ferally at her sister. Oh, that made her feel so much better. Really, it did. As she gets rammed into in return, Sara OOFs, pushed backwards along the ground. "Oh no you didn't!" she says in loud protest, before she smirks. "So.. you wanna play that way, hmm?" she asks.
Reining the ostrich, she pulls it up into the air.. and remembers that the people outside can hear them. "..HEY, GUYS! This is my little sister! And she's SINGLE~!"
And then she divebombs poor kitty.
Sara Pezzini misses Kitty Pryde with her LAWL. PIMPING YOU OUT. attack.
Nao loses sight of the Holo for a moment and doesn't spot him again until it's nearly too late. "Ah!" She holds tight to her ostrich as it's bumped down towards the lava. The crimson bubbles and almost ensnares them, but not before Nao can get the bird to rise again! "Sonofa..." The redhead mutters and grits her teeth as she lifts to the nearest platform. She runs back and forth across it a couple of times to build up her momentum. She's not making the mistake of losing sight of him again though. "There he is! Go Julia!" Because that's her ostrich's name of course! They jump off the platform, flap-flapping towards their sworn enemy. Because of course Nao would want to fight the man. ~.~
Nao Yuuki misses Kitty Pryde with her Bird vs. Birdbrain attack.
"Heey! I didn't know we'd get stuck in virtual reality! You can't blame me for that!" Kitty can't help but giggle - after all, she's never had a sibling! And even though Sara isn't -really- her sister, it's fun to pretend! When her bird BOOFs into Sara's, Kitty has the audacity to stick her tongue out, "NYAAAacccck!" Her taunt ends in a strangled noise. "Y.. you -didn't-. That's playing dirty!" Kitty protests, sputtering.
Outside, the crowd of guys PERK. "Dude. She's kinda cute."
"Single too! The redhead's hot though."
"I like her sister."
"Dude, you don't know what you're talking about! The sister fell in the lava, and her friend got squashed in -FROGGER-."
"Dude, Kate drowned in Frogger."
"So? That water's a mean obstacle man! I'm gonna totally ask her out."
"No way man, I'm Going to! You have a girl already!"
"So?"
Commence the pushing and shoving. Carl sweats a bit more - maybe if the girls wind up having fun in there after all, they won't kill him?
Meanwhile back in the game, Kitty spurs her ostrich forward JUST in time to avoid the divebomb. "HA! Nice try!" Kitty mock sneers, reining the bird around and getting a running start, attempting to ram her 'sis' again. >:EHoloJouster mocks Nao! MOCKS!!! No really. He actually half rises out of his bird's saddle and slaps his bum at her. HUR HUR! And off they go, Nao chasing him down as he flies across the screen! Just when Nao's almost got him, he abruptly stops flying, landing on the platform below, and Nao shoots past him. As she goes overhead, he swings his lance upwards to smack the bird. >:E

"What?" she asks innocently. "I thought those type of guys interested you. Why else would you willingly walk into an arcade. What's next, I'm gonna find out that you and your roommates have role play nights in your lingerie in the home?" That's just to taunt those poor drooling idiots.
She charges in, bumping back into Kitty, trying to shove her backwards. Anyway, can you just see the imagery? I don't think the nerds can. Lingerie and D&D just doesn't mix~

It's bad enough that she missed, but now he's mocking her too?! Nao glares as he teases her and then goes flying off. The redhead gives chase, oblivious to the debate going on between the boys. And that's definitely for the best. Her ostrich squawks as it's smacked, sending a few feathers down into the lava. "Julia!" The HiME cries out before pulling on her mount's reigns to redirect her course...back to Holoman! She's not having as much fun as the 'sisters' but she's taking the game seriously at least!

At least seven of the nerds watching the screen have nosebleeds and keel over from the imagery of Sara's words. *.*;; An ambulance is quickly called. "Are you nuts?" Kitty laughs, "There's nothing wrong with arcades," by which she means the establishment, and not the Freak that had a crush on her :( "But the sweaty guys in them are -SO- not my speed. If I'm gonna be interested in a guy, I'm not going to find him here." And to emphasize her point, she raises her lance and . . pokes at her friend.
Meanwhile! The air battle between Holoman and Nao is fast and furious! His flap-flap-flapping carries him across the screen, but he's too late to get out of the way of Nao's attack! The lance jabs, and the ostrich Holoman is on squawks! The blow knocks them both off balance, and he crashes into the side of the platform, which must be sharper than one might expect, because..
*BOOM!* Look ma, an egg!
Kitty looks up at the sound, grinning, "Hey! She did it!" While they were goofing off. n.n; Well the important thing is that they won, right..? They can leave now -- she hopes. Taking the reins of the bird, she starts to fly up to check on Nao, "Are you okay?"

Sara.. heaves a sigh of relief. Kitty bringing home a nerd boy would be awkward, especially on the days when the girls wanted to go swimming, or if Sara just wants to lounge around in a robe, with a tub of Chunkey Monkey Ice cream and watch Lifetime movies for the afternoon.

And as she moves along, she pokes Kitty back with the lance.

Nao blinks at the egg, looking a little smug that she was finally able to turn Holoman into that. Only now she has to collect it! Nao lands her ostrich and runs over it before skidding across the platform. From there she just turns and walks. She's actually strutting on an ostrich. u.u; But finally she takes flight again, rising to the level of Kitty and Sara. "Is that everyone?" She turns her bird back and forth, actually looking for more opponents, eheh. But that's just how she is! Especially after she's won.
Despite the fact that +code says that was a miss, Kitty oofs anyway. She either actually got poked, or she was only pretending. Probably the former. From her perch at the upper center of the platform, Kitty grins at Nao when she collects the egg and starts to strut. "You know, I didn't think you could do that on an ostrich." To Sara, Kitty nods, "I hope so. I don't want to play games for the rest of my life - I have things to do, and goodness knows what's happening with our bodies out there." Plus Lockheed will be worried sick, and not to mention Illyana.
There is silence at first; not even a stage complete sound! ANd then, without preamble, the room starts shaking, breaking into multiple pieces. "Oh what -NOW-?" Kitty growls. Then yelps in surprise when the platfrom, the ostriches -everything- suddenly vanishes, depositing her on her duff in a field. And directly ahead of the trio? A Gigas. A biga## Gigas. And he looks cranky. >:E
Sara smirks. "Anyone tries anything with me.." she whispers to Kitty, "And the Witchblade will eat them." She gets a >:D smile, just as things start to fall apart. "..guess this wasn't the portal home, Ziggy." she says with a frown.. and then.
"..what the hell is that?" she asks the two game players, pointing at Gigas. Why couldn't she keep that weapon from Zombie land. Or the ostrich. Or even the pepper. She looks at Kitty and Nao. "I don't think punching it will help much."
Nao can strut on anything! If she can look smug on a giant green spider of all things... When Kitty mentions their bodies, the redhead actually looks concerned. She hadn't thought of that before. Way to go Kitty! But then everything starts falling away, warning them of yet another change. "Great..." She mutters, but whatever she was going to say next is lost when she spots the Gigas. "...." Speechless. And that's quite an accomplishment when it comes to Nao! Not that she's not completely confident that they can beat it, mind you. >.>;
Kitty Pryde grins at Sara.
"DUDE! That other hot chick made a Quantum Leap references! I think I'm in love!" <3 Cries someone from outside.
"It looks.. like some kind of giant?" Kitty puzzles. "I'm not familiar with this game though.." And they have no weapons. "Oh this is going to suck.." Curiously, there's a loud *PING* interrupting the battle. Best part? A treasure box suddenly appears in front of the trio. The Gigas hasn't approached them yet, so they'll have time to open the prize if they want to (Hint, you want to!).
Sara pauses at the ping, and looks down at the box. "Let's open it up and see if we get some treasure before we die at least, huh?" the detective ask as she leans down to open the chest and see what's inside, one eye watching the Gigas warily.
Treasure? Now that has Nao's interest! She hurries over, practically forgetting the Gigas since it hasn't done anything yet. "Open it up!" If you need to pick the lock, Nao probably knows how. ~.~ "We split whatever's in there three ways!" In case anyone gets any other funny ideas.
Clearly, she's forgotten that said treasure isn't -real-.
"Oh good, I always wanted to be rich before I died." Kitty utters, crowding around the box with the others. Sara opens the box, which emits a faint golden glow, and three objects can be found. When Sara reaches in, she'll find.. a shining silver sword!When Nao reaches in, she'll find a set of mithril claws with the blades pointed read. And when Kitty reaches in, she finds.. a dragon plush. "What th.."
Another text box drops down, pinging noisily. It reads:
Player Sara acquires spell: SUMMON WITCHBLADE
Player Juliet acquires spell: SUMMON JULIA
Player Kate acquires spell: SUMMON LOCKHEED
And for some reason, all three players are compelled to hoist their found items aloft for all the world to see. Kitty HURKS as she clutches her plush high over her head. "What the heck!?"
Now that the heroes are outfitted though, they draw the attention of the Gigas. Who lumbers towards the trio, as the treasure chest vanishes. >:E
Time to kick ass ladies.
Taking out the silver sword, Sara gets a viscious little grin. "Well, gals. Looks like we just had the odds evened." she offers to the others. "Shall we start the process of dismantling this oversized jerk?"
That's Nao's favorite time. <3 Though she does arch a brow at Kitty's...plush dragon? "Yeah, that's gonna come in real handy." She murmurs. Oh well. That just leaves more for her! And now that she's got her claws, she's feeling a lot better. "Yeah, I'm inclined to agree." She smirks and nods along with Sara before rushing towards the Gigas. She's not one to waste any time, especially when it comes to battle!
Nao Yuuki hits Kitty Pryde with her First Blood attack.

"Sounds lovely," Kitty grins, though she eyes the plushie in her hands with a puzzled frown. "Okay why do they get swords and claws, and I get a friggin' toy. Someone up there hates me."
The Gigas roars once, raising a massive arm, stumbling back a step as Nao gets the first strike, blood driping down its arm. GRR. That massive fist slams downward again, aiming to strike at the attacking girls.

Sara starts to move with Nao to charge in.. then it's her turn to see a shadow. She gives a squawk of protest, just as the massive fist slams down. She's able to avoid the majority of it, but in the end, she only catches the side of a knucle and some thrown earth. Landing on the ground, she slowly forces herself to her feet, and snarls. "That the best you got?" she asks, clutching the sword in her hand. And then she starts to charge..
And just then, the SUMMON WITCHBLADE happens. The silver sword melds into her hand, and starts to form armor around her body and form the usual bladed fingers. Unfortunately, as the bladed armor forms, it rips through her clothing, tattering it up. She's still decent - just less so.
Leaping upwards, she slashes at the Giant's angle and then continues to run forward, her blade held at the ready as she draws in a series of deep breaths.
Sara Pezzini switches armor modes to Witchblade.

Nao sees the fist slamming down and merely twirst her body at the last moment. The redhead laughs as she feels nothing but the breeze from the monster's fist. "You missed." <3 The HiME points out, pausing just long enough to give her claws a lick. And then she thrusts her hand forward, red threads flying from the claws to wrap around the giant's arm.
Three more fanboys bust into nosebleeds and collapse, joining the ranks of those that fainted earlier. Carl meanwhile, glances at the screen, and then the enclosed seats that the three fighters are motionlessly resting in. "I'm a dead man. ;.;" Quickly he turns back to the terminal with his assistant, working on making the repairs.
Meanwhile, the Gigas snarls as the sword slices its ankle, adding to one already bleeding wound on its arm. Its strike misses Nao entirely, which seems to annoy it, and this gives Nao the chance to wrap threads from the claws around its arm. It doesn't really hurt much - or budge the arm at all. So the giant seeks to yank RIGHT back, jerking on its arm and swinging Nao (if she's still connected) at Sara.

Nao slams into Sara's exposed back, before the Witchblade armor can move to protect her. The detective/demon hunter gives a cry of pain, as she rolls off the ground and gets back to her feet. "Hit it with everything you got, Nao!" she calls out to the red head as she lifts up her right arm.
The armor shifts, folding around her hand, and a cannon barrel opens. The tip of it glows red for just a moment, and then from it, a blast of Hellfire leaps out towards the Gigas. "Let's do this, girls!"
Sara Pezzini critically strikes Kitty Pryde with her LAWL, BURN. attack.

Nao's feet skid over the ground as the Gigas yanks back against her threads and slams her into Sara. It wasn't enough to make her let go though. "Dammit." The redhead grits her teeth, already prepared to do exactly as the other suggested. Her other hand is flung forward, sending more glowing red wires towards the Gigas. This time she's ready to pull harder -- hard enough to slice through the monster's virtual body.
Nao Yuuki gets a glancing blow on Kitty Pryde with her Broken Puppet attack.

Wow I'm glad that's not /me/, Kitty muses. Eyeing the plushie in her hands, she wrinkles her nose. "Might as well give it a shot." It -DID- say Summon Lockheed after all. Tossing the dragonplush into the air, she decides to be a little fancy, clapping her hands together, "Lockheed!" The strange thing here is that the plush.. suddenly becomes less plushy, that soft cottony fabric becoming leathery, more lifelike. The dragon plush turned dragon screeches, twisting in the air and circling around to land on Kitty's shoulder. o O ( What do you know, it worked! ) Kitty grins, points at the Gigas. "GO!"
Lockheed screeches again, mini dragon that he is, and launches off of Kitty's shoulder, sending a fireblast at the Gigas. This in combined with Sara's attack causes the Gigas to reel, howling in pain - oh the fire! Its chest hairs! It's back hairs! Its everything is BURNING! The threads shot out from Nao grab onto the Gigas' arm. The wires tighten, tighten.. and sever the Gigas' arm! E's a gusher! But it still has another arm! However it's not using the arm to attack - instead the Gigas *STOMPS* at the two >:E

Keeping with the dodging just a little too late, the foot hits up against Sara, scraping her side as she gets knocked backwards, landing on her rump. "Nao!" She calls out as she adjusts the cannon back into blades. "Is there any way that you can tie that things ankle's together or hold it place?!"
As she calls out, she leaps high off the ground, and tries to gain a foothold in the creature's side to continue on the way upwards.

Nao's eyes widen when she sees the monster about to stomp her. And then..it does stomp her. o.o; She goes flying from the impact, rolling over and over again. She knows she has to get back onto her feet quickly though. The HiME pushes herself up, glaring at the Gigas as she listens to Sara's plan. "Y-yeah...!" She pushes herself onto her knees and sends more glowing threads at the creature, aiming to wrap around his ankles this time.
Nao Yuuki hits Kitty Pryde with her Don't go away! attack.

"Wow, what a mess." Illyana walks into the arcade and nudges one of the fallen fanboys with a foot. She doesn't want to use her hands. They might infect her or something! "Kitty! Are you here, Kitty?" The Russian girl steps over another one, wrinkling her nose in distaste. But wait... there's something going on up there! And it looks interesting. There's Kitty, and Sara, and... some readhead. After a moment of watching, Illyana grabs for the arm of the nearest observer. "Hey, tell me about this game. What's going on in there?"
Currently, the scoreboard has Nao's health down to fifty percent, Sara's down to 80, and Kitty at 75 only because she's been attacking at a far range. Sara leaps up the side of the giant, another strike gouging an injury in the beastie >:E Kitty sprints towards Nao when the Gigas' foot comes up again, wincing, "You okay, Nao?" She's about to help the girl up, when Nao sends those threads at the monster, successfully tying up those legs. The beast wobbles furiously, which is when Lockheed comes in for another air strike >:E RAHAHHA!
One of the observers tugged by Illyana turns, "Well that guy Carl there? Was demoing a game, and those three on the screen were volunteered. Only something went wrong with the system and they got locked inside; Carl's working on it-"
"AHA!!" There's the sound of locks disengaging from the seats that the girls are resting in. On the screen, Lockheed sends a blast of fire at the Gigas again, and the beast stumbles back, hitting the ground roughly. It doesn't get up - instead there's a rumbling as the body dissipates into pixels. Again it seems that there's nothing, but after a moment, a door of light appears in the center of the stage, and a fairy pops into existence throwing confetti, "HOOORAY! YOU WIN THE INTERNETS! Hey! Look! Listen!" She points at the door, and darts back out again. Anyone who passes through that door will wake up in their seat again, completely unharmed, and will be able to step out of said seats. FREEDOM!

Sara arrives on the Gigas's shoulder, and suddenly sprouts really giant claws, and was about to yse them.. when she instead has to leap off because the beast is falling. As she lands on the ground with an oof, she stares at the fairy. It's just a sprite, right?
She skewers it out out spite.
And then the Witchblade bearer makes her way through the door and back to the fully clothed real world, dammit. >.<
Sara Pezzini switches armor modes to Cop.

Nao holds tight, prepared to slice and dice after Sara if needed. But then it's Game Over. It takes a moment for the disoriented feeling to pass but as soon as it does the redhead tosses her visor aside. Let's see, what's the count tonight -- she's been bitten by zombies, chased by hot dogs and eggs, rode a ostrich, and been stomped. Yeah, that about sums it up. The HiME steps through the door with only one thought and one question.
"Where the hell is Carl?"
Someone go ahead and notify his next of kin.
"Something... went... wrong?" Illyana's eyes begin to blank out white as she slowly looks toward Carl. It's a good thing he fixes it right then, or she might have had to do something Kitty wouldn't approve of. "Oh.. it's fixed!" She pats the helpful observer on the shoulder and advances toward the game.
When Nao gets up, Illyana jerks a thumb over her shoulder. There he is! Get him! After subjecting her friend to such danger, Carl deserves anything the redhead is going to do to him!
But Illyana has other priorities! Before Kitty can get up from her seat, Illyana slips in and wraps her arms around her friend from behind, chirping happily, "Katya~ Guess who?"
That look from Illyana is all it takes for Carl to hightail it the hell out of the arcade T_T He runs ever faster when he hears Nao's cry of FURY. And for the redhead's benefit, at least Illyana is there to point the way! When Kitty passes through the door, there's a moment's disorientation as her eyes open and take a moment to adjust.
A voice chirps from behind. "Katya~~~ Guess who?"
Kitty grins wearily, "Can't imagine!" She reaches up to squeeze her friend's arm in greeting. "Must be the Easter Bunny." Oh! She can hear Nao hunting Carl down, but .. "Is Sara okay?"
Sara looks at Illyana and Kitty, even as she flicks the visor aside. As much as she wants to get to shredding - she's a good cop, so she behaves. /However/. As she looks back at her housemates. "I'm going home. Soaking in the shower. Getting out the Amaretto and the deck of cards. Poker. Loser of each hand has to answer a prying personal question asked by the hand's winner. You two in?"
"Too early for Easter." Illyana grins and bumps her forehead against the back of Kitty's head before letting the brunette go. "Seems okay to me!" She considers the offer of the game, glancing from cop to Kit. "That sounds like fun. I'm in if you are."
Kitty Pryde giggles at the headbump, and climbs out of the game, stretching. "Sounds like fun," she agrees, slinging an arm around Illyana. And eyes, "Yana.. do I want to know why there's a bunch of geeks and nerds passed out over there?" Back to Sara, "Man, I haven't played poker in a while. If you're going to ask a prying personal question, I think we should have the option to pass - there are some things we might not want to discuss." They all have their demons after all - some more than others. "Fair?"
"Fair." Sara agrees, gathering up the few bags she has to before she gets ready to leave.
Then she thinks to add. "Any and all questions on Logan are off the table, then."
