Kisuke Urahara
It is late afternoon, evening is approaching. Something, high in the air, is falling toward Karakura! Falling toward the alley near the Urahara Shop! Surely this can only be a sign of evil! A portent of terror! A high school student!
...what?
*CRASH*
From deep within the crater, Sousuke Sagara groans, sitting upright and rubbing his skull. "Her follow-through's improving," he mutters.
The shop was quiet as usual as selling Shinigami overpriced goods wasn't a full time job. Nor was selling tourists junk really. Urahara watched the event from his comfortable place outfront, admiring the crater from afar. That girl had a kick didn't she and that boy look like he could take anything thrown at him. He continued to study, trying to observe as much as he could from his location before interfearing. Despite his shady appearance, that pleasant smile was...actually that just made him look more shady.
Sousuke grunts, standing up and dusting himself off as he begins to climb out of the crater. Despite the fact that he has just been punted several city blocks, he seems to not be in that bad a shape. Some cuts, mainly, and even those aren't bleeding. "Obviously," he decides, "the correct answer was 'no'..." Hoisting himself fully out of the crater, he looks around, pondering his location.
"Well aren't you a trooper." Urahara chimed in, finally getting to his feet after snapping his fan open. "Quite an arm she has to get you all the way over here like that."
The man didn't exactly approach Sousuke too closely, keeping his distance in case this tank had cannons too. Then again judging by the spiritual energy, or lack there of, Urahara had really nothing to worry about with this kid did he? He waved his fan so the cool air caught his face, despite it already being under the cool shade of his hat.
Sousuke's head darts up. He pulls his Glock out from the waistband of his pants and points it at the newcomer reflexively. "Who's there?!" His eyes don't waver in the least. Urahara stops at a respectful enough distance so Sousuke does not plug him full of holes. "...she is some distance away," he notes, carefully not using her name. "How did you see that?"
"I have my ways though I'm sure you have yours as well. Whats a young fella like you doing with a toy like that? Judging by that gloss, its real, yes?" Urahara really didn't know what a real gun looked like but definately knew a fake. His store was the place to by 9mm. replicas that fired pellets, guns so cheap looking most cops laughed if one was pulled on them. The merchant meets eyes with Sousuke. "You made quite a dent in my property didn't you?"
Sousuke...frowns. This is not going somewhere he likes. "Affirmative," he says. "This pistol is armed with rubber bullets and has an incredibly high stopping power." This is, presumably, supposed to deter Urahara from trying anything funny. He doesn't look back at the crater; he already knows it's pretty impressive. Given Urahara isn't trying anything offensive, Sousuke does begin to lower the gun, but keeps it in a position to raise it back up and fire if Urahara makes any suspicious motions. "It would appear I did."
Urahara smiles at the boy's actions, standing tall on his cane as if it were just a prop. He continues to fan himself before snapping it closed suddenly. "Well holes don't fill themselves, son. This shop has been in my care for quite awhile and the last thing it needs is a hole to scare customers off. But I'm sure the girl over there will agree when I explain this was your doing." Judging by the force and the size of the crater, Kisuke could tell which one of these kids was in charge. "But You're quite in luck..." He trailed off, waiting for the kid to ask for clarification rather than the alternative which the blonde looked casually over at.
Sousuke frowns. Bringing Chidori into this! That's just cheating. Besides, he can't allow someone to get Kaname involved, not someone who looks this shady. "Very well," Sousuke says, hands still on the trigger. If he doesn't like the conditions, he can probably take this guy out pretty easily... "What did you have in mind?"
"Well you should work to pay off your debt of course. I mean it is only fair." Urahara smiles at the boy, opening his fan to shield the smile on his face. "After all, that's honorable thing you can do..." He looks to Kaname again. "She'll even tell you that I think." He gave a sage like nod, waiting for the answer.
Sousuke's eyes dart back. Kaname should still be about a block away, after that kick. He returns his attention to Urahara. "I have other duties to perform," he replies. His gun is still out, though currently pointed at the ground. "I cannot spend that much time here."
Kisuke Urahara misses Sousuke Sagara with his Touching Is Good! Gimme That! Please! T_T action.
"Hmmm. Well then what will I do with the crater?" Urahara walked back and forth in front of Sousuke, attempting something else just as he passed the boy. With a lightning fast gesture, he attempts to remove the gun from Sousuke's hand just as a test. It would be bad if he messed this up. And he misses. Oh well. This will be quite fun explaining.
Kisuke Urahara stuns himself with his OMG I'm hit action.
Sousuke's reactions are fast. This kid's trained. As Urahara makes his motion, Sousuke's ALREADY ACTING, leaping out of the way, landing in a roll and then rolling to his feet. He brings the gun to bear on Urahara and with a single sharp BANG! a rubber bullet is winging Urahara's way. He doesn't speak, but his eyes are now slightly narrowed in a battle-ready expression.
Urahara felt the pain of the rubber bullet him. It was true he probably had worse and since he primarily did battle with his soul. This gigai was going to be bruised though...Oh well he would just exchange it later. And now he does what he did when Ichigo hit him...Whine loudly. "OWie! My side hurts so bad! Oh man and all I wanted you to do was pay for the damage to my shop! Why would you shoot me!" Hey, that was projection and it was aimed for a block away. "Your friend shot me! it's getting dark!"
Sousuke doesn't actually care, and is in fact about to shoot him again, when something dawns on him.
If Kaname finds this, she's going to break his neck.
Gruntings, Sousuke says, "Fine. Just stop. What do you want me to do? If you need me to stay here for any kind of long term commitment, the answer is no."
Urahara perks up at his agreement and is back to his cheery self. Wasn't this guy just shot? "Well congradulations, you're my new errand boy. Welcome to the job! Do well and good luck. I'll get your uniform." He continued to eye the gun with amusement.
"we'll get your debts paid off in no time."
The sandle hat has roped in his newest victim. Excellent. Excellent. Everything was going according to his plan.
Sousuke...frowns. He slowly puts the gun away, distrust in his eyes. This is not good, he thinks. But at least Kaname won't kill him. He watches Urahara go inside, wondering how the hell this happened.
