i can't really describe how things have been lately as i am affected by outside situations. with trevor still looking for a job and my work being ... busy but disconnected, i guess things could be worse. at this point, i will take what i can get.
on the sad side, i've noticed a lot more dvds being gone than i had thought originally. i am hoping that i'll find them all magically in a box somewhere, but that is becoming unlikely. amongst others my stargate ultimate edition, practical magic, shreck 1, and incredibles are missing. it's hard to notice when you have as many as we do... until it's lazy saturday, then you start getting annoyed. they'll turn up soon *crosses fingers*
i bought this album from the apple store. i will never buy another album if they continue to encode the files in 128kbps mp3. that's just depressing! you'd think if you were paying for it, you'd get at *least* 192kbps or even 320kbps. i know 128 is smaller, so it's more convenient to download, but shit. if i bought it for 2$ more in the store, i'd get a higher quality copy of it. especially with Shiny Toy Guns, they mix electronica with garage band... electronica is always better at higher bit rates (just so you know).
trevor, steph, mike and i went to Lupe Tortillas tonight. omg, talk about "estoy muy llano!" we all ate until we couldn't ate no more. i made the mistake of eating a red jalapeno that wasn't boiled and set my mouth on fire for about 10 minutes. even after chile con queso, tons of salsa and beans, flautas and tacos... it was only 20$! amazing food for SO CHEAP!
that said, i think i'm going to sit with the handsome man on my couch.
