It is friday - Thank hoo-hoo. - Eff this week
This week has kind of been a wipe out for fandom related creativity. Which makes me sad, I have so many WIP's and half finished plot bunnies that are gnawing at my brain. I am going to be posting the third chapter of my current Primeval WIP "Tinder Dry" and perhaps take a break from essays and end of semester related doom to flesh out from TWD Kink Meme prompt bunnies. I have a two or three of them that super close to completion, but I am not pleased with them yet, and thus they continue to languish in my word processor folder. (Fail author is full of fail, I know.)
Instead, most of the week I have been writing a reading response comparison for my Gender class. Woo Masculinity! It was actually quite fascinating. I have been waiting for this section of the seminar all course, so much gender is focused around women in graduate/under grad university courses. So it is a nice change when we do something other then that, such as say masculinity and LGTB related focuses.
For my new friends, I am nearing the end of my Masters degree in history, so my life is often rather insane. Especially near semester end. I am doing my masters degree in Canadian History fyi. - For example this is what the next few weeks look like for me. Keep in mind this is not including reading 5 plus books a week for smaller assignments and participation/discussion in class:
*Essay due today. - 8 pages.
*Essay due next week. - 6 pages.
*Essay due April 12th. - 10 pages.
*Essay due April 15th. - 15 pages.
*Essay due May 1st. - 30 pages.
I suppose I am just feeling particularly sorry for myself at the moment because I only got three hours of sleep last night. Mer-Mer-Mer... Footnoting and last minute editing in honor of my super anal and picky professor. ...Whom is staring at me suspiciously while I write this in class..
This is kind of how I feel today to be honest...
