I signed up for my Theory classes!

Yesterday was the first day I could sign up for the Theory and Theory Review classes, so I did! And surprise, they credited me $60 for the class I dropped earlier this summer, so I only had to pay about half. All I need now is to rent a steno machine. I already bought the books I need for the class back in May, so that's clear ( Read more... )

This all sounds very, very cool. That steno machine in your icon looks so different from the one I used back in 1981 or thereabouts. :-)

Any hints or suggestions for learning the machine, Aiz?

I think I mentioned it before, but maybe I only thought I did. *g* Sometimes I write comments in my mind and forget I never actually posted it. *g*

Anyway, it was a long time ago. I wish I had some neat tips for you, but I really don't remember much about it--no details anyway, just general stuff--except that it took a lot of practice.
