I'm still sick. My throat still hurts (but hasn't gotten worse nor am I running a fever) and now my sinuses decided to get into the act. My daughter is sick, but my son fought it off

Thank you. It's really driving me crazy. I had a horrible weekend and I need to get better cause it's my B-day this weekend. :)
So LJ is telling me! I'd offer to write you a fic but given the glacial speed at which I write now I'm doing two jobs, you likely wouldn't see it until NEXT year!
My hubby and I had a tough childhood growing up and we vowed that we would learn from it and our kids are the fruit of that.
Which is proof positive that people can grow and learn from horrible experiences.

Just the fact that you'd even offer is enough. *hugs*

Yes. We put our minds to it and when we started to fall short, we had no problems saying it to each other. But the difference is, we didn't yell at each other, hubby and I would sit down and talk about it like adults. Then we'd call the kids in, apologize and promise to do better next time.
Well, i'm glad that you're feeling better but I'm sad that your sinuses are acting up. I HATE sinus problems!!! I had to take Afrin just to sleep at night or else I'd be snorting and end up with a terrible headache. Hope that you and your daughter feel better soon!
YAY for your son and his possible job. I hope that he gets it!

Ooh...just what I need. Thanks. :D
His interview is actually next week so I need to fix that. Yeah, we have great kids. I probably should give parental advice every now and then. ;)

He's nervous and excited about it. He told hubby last night that if he gets the job, he wants to start paying for his own cell phone.
