It's still way too early to panic and run to the grocery store for beer. But I may stock up anyway.
And I use an appropriate icon for Rep. Akin, because it fits. Grissom is not amused.
EDIT: Track updated at 11 am EST. I still don't like the red model (NHC uses this one).
EDIT: New track at 2 pm, and the main model has it moving up the West Coast of Florida. I don't want my west coast friends to be in harms way, but I can't help but think that some people on religious far right say that these storms are God's way of punishing the wicked, well, isn't the Republican National Convention in Tampa starting Monday, August 27th? Just sayin'.
EDIT: And now it's Tropical Storm Isaac. The track shifted east a bit, but it's still heading towards the Tampa area. We're still on the wet side and will probably get rough seas and a surge - if the track holds. I've also noticed the models are lining up more including the one that it going out to sea.
