A few things, well, more than a few things.

First off, I'd like to thank kefira for my V-Gifts!

Second, here are some fun videos. The first one is from Jon Stewart and the last two are about a singer who not only looks like Freddie Mercury but sounds like him.

It's worse since the storm started. Bleh.

It's really hard to feel sorry for that man. And really, don't these people realize that the real job creators are the middle class? It's simple economics. If the middle class has money to spend (other than on necessities), there's a demand for products, that demand leads to businesses opening and jobs. When the middle class has no money to spend, there's no demand, which means businesses close (or don't open) and no jobs. That isn't coming from my own head, but from a small business owner. *shakes head*

My new friend is also a Neal McDonough fan, so I think she'll fit right in. What do you think? *snerk*

bleh :(

Oh, I *really* can't understand trickle down-economics. Call me crazy, but you can't build a house from teh roof down. You kinda need the foundation and the walls to hold up the roof first. When you ignore the foundation and walls, you end up with a shanty that crahes down around you.

I mean really.. how hard is that to understand??? *siigh*

Woot. LOL Perhaps she'll enjoy the insanity.

/Completely random... today is bisexual pride day. I wonder what El is going to do to celebrate. ;)

Tax breaks help business owners, but that alone won't create jobs or keep them open. They need people coming in to buy their goods. Trickle-down economics does not work. That was proved in the 80's and it's being proved now with the divide growing between the middle class and the wealthy. I'm not against wealth, but it's hard to push this theory when so many people are out of work and those that are supposed to be the job creators are getting richer. If they are job creators, where are the jobs? Oh, wait, they do create jobs, just not in the US. :p

What could El possibly do to celebrate? ;)

[ok, I'm leaving her logged in just for the icons. LOL]

Agreed, I'm not either.. but just because you're rich doesn;t mean you are immune to paying your fair share of the taxes, and ya know... if you make extra, what are you going to miss and why not share. Seriously.

I can't imagine, but I am sure there's meat and sweet potatoes involved. ♥

Sadly, on my desk right now..

TWO bottles of water; a full tea from McDs; 1/4 tea from Wendy's (yesterday's); 1/3 strawberry milkshake from McDs; a new Pepsi.

What's the term for non-alcoholic alcoholics?
