I'm rather impressed. You can definitely tell the difference between Moffat and RTD. I think I just may enjoy this new Doctor after all.
I groaned when I saw the Daleks and the Cybermen in the previews, but I squeed when I saw Bill Nighy. *hugs him and still wishes he was the Doctor*
When the voice said 'Prisoner Zero has escaped' I yelled: "The Doctor's in the O.Z.!" Mini-me added that you can get to the O.Z. through a crack in a wall. *gigglesnort* I love it when my fandoms collide unexpectedly.
Fish sticks and custard - o.O *shudders*
I like Amy and hope the Doctor gets her back in time to get married, I assume to Rory.
I hope to see more of Jeff.
I loved the montage of all the Doctors and glad they included Eight. *hugs him*
Best part of all - no mention of Rose! *thanks all the deities I can think of*
The new TARDIS is pretty cool. Loved the old typewriter on the control panel. Now, I'm not sure, but the control panel looked like it had elements from all the previous TARDIS designs. *ponders* I'll have to look.
The pool is back!
I'm still not completely sold on Matt Smith (acting-wise), but I do feel a bit better about him than I did before I watched. I hope he improves as the series goes on and I suspect he will.
The writing was definitely better, especially with all the new introductions they had to get out of the way. I didn't have the same feeling at the end that I normally do with an RTD script. The resolution with the aliens was pretty solid and not a 'facepalm' event.
The giant eyeball under the ship was weird, but it is a family show with younger viewers in mind so I'll let that pass.
Doctor to TARDIS: "You sexy thing." HA! OTP is now Doctor/TARDIS!
Amy was not shy to watch nekkid!Doctor dress. Hee- I giggled at this for completely different reasons. Oh Isabelle. ;)
I'll add more as they come to me.
