VAMPIRES AND LYCANS!!! Woot!
I saw Underworld: Rise of the Lycans tonight! It was awesome! It did really well to promote the backstory between Lucian and Victor that we saw in the first movie. Which I'm currently watching now. But I really liked it and even though I knew that Sonja was going to die, it was still very depressing when that happened. Lucian was really extraordinarily pissed off (as to be expected) and I just really wanted to cry. But I didn't. (Though I have to say I like Rise of the Lycans Lucian better, though that may be because he doesn't wear a shirt a lot and is hopelessly in love.) Oh, and there's a totally awesome tidbit at the end of the movie once the screen goes black.
But watching the movie gave me an idea for a story. I know, I need another story like I need a hole in the head. But Lucian and Sonja were very much in love and she was pregnant with his child (btw, this is mentioned in the other two movies). I figure that the two deserve a second chance at having love and having a freaking life together. Ergo...
Lucian and Sonja broke all of the rules regarding the seperation between Vampire and Lycan and they paid dearly for it. Their lives - and the life of their unborn child - were lost. Michael and Selene have broken all of these rules as well and find themselves in charge of ending the war between the two races. Yet Sonja's miracle was not a singular occurence it seems. With a war raging around him, how can their child survive?
Okay, so the summary's a bit weird, but the premise is that Michael and Selene's son is actually Lucian all reincarnated and then he ends up finding the reincarnated Sonja. Only Sonja's been alive for a while. And that's what it's about.
And I really need to stop getting ideas for fics. It does not help my mental stability. At all.
