battle of the bands
first off just let me say, not as funny as i thought it was going to be. the president must have sanctioned this. but i didn't have to judge them, thankfully, because i have no idea how i would have judged on this level of suck. instead i was roadie/sound tech. i have never been this worn out at the end of a day. setting up and breaking down the stage and all the gear..i think my body broke.
the other sound guy i was working with, lee, was awesome though. i really hope im just as sarcastic/cynical/funny asshole as lee is when im his age. when i first met him i thought he looked familar and it turns out he was the sound tech for alot of the same shows at the 9:30 club in washington, when i used to live there.
later in the night some rednecks where making fun of me so i totally rated them out the police there about how they were buying beer for their underage pregnant girlfriends. sad thing, that was the highlight of my night.
