oh yeah..? oh no.
I am so excited I can't sleep. It's almost like the anticipation I felt before christmas or the day before summer vacation.
Tomorrow I have an interview with allstate insurance that is pretty much a shoe-in. The woman who owns the titusville branch will be interviewing me and she's also a friend of the family. An actual job that I'll be able to dress nice for everyday(!). No more painting houses and getting ripped off. No more laying tile. No more bullshit labor work, and most importantly: no more fucking hot dog selling at the titusville street fair for the chamber of commerce.
Soon I wll be back on par with the majority of my peers. I'll have the car, the appartment, and the freedom I so naively thought would just come (just like I thought I would just be able to go to college after highschool). And as much as I hate to admit it, I hate not having stuff. I hate not having those shitty things serve no purpose in life other than to make you feel good; the ipod, the sidekick, the super kickass computer. I hate wanting them, but at the same time I hate not having them. I don't know, maybe I just want the option of being able to have them..
I kind of hope the next few months work out like the first episode of futurama..still a delivery boy, but just in a badass spaceship.
