Well, I started this a minute ago, but I don't see it here... and IE just closed right the hell down.
I read My Sister's Keeper and it caused me to SOB OUT LOUD at the end (unlike the must-have happy ending of the movie.) My sister Tracy has read all of Picoult, I think.
I don't think I've read any more, or any faster since the beginning of the year than I have in the past, but this is the first time I've ever kept track.
I knew you were looking at houses from FB. My dad (wow, i seem to have a "my dad" theme going on today) always encouraged me to look at the cost of square footage and to check comparables. And to look at TONS of houses. He's pretty smart, my dad, so there you go!
It's actually the story a self-educated concierge who hides who she really is - how smart and interesting she is - to play the role of the concierge. In it, someone describes her as a hedgehog, who curles herself tight around her sweet insides.
I love To Sail Beyond the Sunset, but I'm pretty fond The Cat Who Walks Through Walls and The Number of the Beast. Oh, and The Moon is a Harsh Mistress!
Well, and several others.
The boys are crazy good. Tyler and I went out to Portland OR for 9 days - he's going to go to Reed College out there. It was amazing for me -I'd never been west of the Mississippi before and I've never seen a landscape like that before. He'll be graduating from at the end of next month. Zach just finished his first full year community college, and he seems to be...maturing. :D
Thanks for asking! How's your family? The grandbabies must be getting big!
I hate it that you gave it an either OR proposition...
That said, are you really sure you wanted N_S to ask you a question? As you know I'm not one for being very short on anything, and I'll dig for answers.
After much thought, if I could ask any ONE question it would be...
Never mind, I can't adhere to this one question thingie, it's just not gonna work. Make it unlimited and I can feel free to not choose just ONE.

some of those titles sound like fun reads.
you ever read any Jodi Picoult books? I love her!
As for what I've been up to, we looked at a house last week, we'll be looking at more over the spring/summer
otherwise, not much.
