Oh, this is stunning. I love the halo -- sometimes we do forget that Cas is an angel (since, you know, he's been so many other things as well), and it's nice to see someone work in a "stereotypical" angel thing into their art.

Tehehe, I hope Cas does return with all his power (good, not evil, hopefully) so I thought I should make that apparent :) There has been a lot of angelic pictures of early Cas ... at least on deviantArt, I think ... but you are right, he has changed so much in the process, who knows who/what he'll be when he's back. Ohhh, I am giddy with anticipation :)
I love the noir feeling of your art (the blinds on the background, the shadow of the wings on the wall!), Castiel's halo, and the way he looks at Dean and his hand is hovering but not touching.
