Just posted this link on my Facebook as well. I'm completely gobsmacked.
It written by a woman who has basically said that Women only watch HBO for Sex and the City and certainly don't watch True Blood and won't watch this... Of course two minutes research would have told her a majority of the fans of both are women, but then given she also manages to slag off fantasy, D&D and geeks (who are obviously male - no such thing as a female geek) all in the space of a few paragraphs.
The article also has comments and rating turned off (it did get 48 ratings giving the article an average of 1.5 out of 5 before they switched them off) ...
I suspect this may go viral - and I encourages all the female fans I know to be rightly outraged ;-)
