Field Trip
Yea... so the field trip wasnt that bad... being knee high up in mud collecting samples... kinda interesting... one thing you guys not in the science world might be interested to know about research... say for example someone wants to study the number of species of fish in a pond... well they way we do that is... take a net... catch them... then stick em' in a jar filled with formalin (preservative) and kill them... I've gone on two field trips so far... and all we've done really was go out... catch things... then kill them... you would think scientist were trying to save the animals... but it seems that they kill a lot of them in the process... my professor said that he has probably killed over a million organisms throughout his career... he then seemed to go into contemplative thought... shrugged... and then walked away
