ok. detroit. i will admit now that i will always love it.
the other day, there were some douches playing amplified music ON THEIR PORCH 2 houses down. like frat boys jamming hard on really ugly, expensive guitars. so into it. jd would have loved it. and not only because he stole their (weed) bowl at their new years party.
today i saw a woman smoking crack in a car in the parking lot of marcus market surrounded by a full lot of cars. this still doesn't rival the woman shaun and i saw in the middle of the afternoon walking down the middle of second (4 lanes) smoking crack and stumbling. i think it was halloween mask lady II.
if you live in detroit, you have to often deal with people trying to buy everything you own. especially if it is in your yard and is a bike or grill. i listened to a group of women trying to buy the frat boy neighbors' grill for so long today. the main talker went into detail about all of the people she'd talked to recently who told her that she should try to buy one of their two grills and how that alone was a reason for them to just give in and sell one to her. it was so awesome.
