I'm glad I didn't decide to be lame and stay in. I had SUCH a blast tonight :]
Amnesty and Progess sponsered a show tonight at Cups To Go so Madelaine and her roommate/my co-worker Tanya invited me along to come. We got there late, but it was alright because we only really came to see the last two bands. I seriously forgot how much fun it is to just dance like an idiot. The music was great, the people were fun, and I had this yummy raspberry chai <333 So the show ended around 12:30 and we went back to their house because they were having people over to drink and eat hotdogs around a fire (thank goodness, because I still don't have a winter coat). Their friends are really really fun and I met a lot of cool people tonight. I'm looking forward to hanging out with them again.
Oh and on Tuesday I ended up hanging out with this girl Dawn from work and a couple of her housemates. They seem really chill too and we like a lot of the same things. They're another group of people I'd like to get to know better :]
It's a weird to actually have a good week, but it's nice. I hope I can finish out my time at JMU like this so I can look back at least semi-fondly.
