Well, this morning I got my first of 3 injections of an experimental HIV vaccine. I'm a study volunteer for the Hope Clinic, a vaccine study clinic at Emory University. It feels really pretty awesome to be one of 1500 people to help in this search.
If you're in Atlanta, you don't mind shots/blood draws, and you're pro-research (and pro-money!), check out the Hope Clinic; they've always got at least one or two studies going, and they're wicked nice over there.
