A very Jewy Christmas!

I was just writing an entry and I was just about to click the "Update Journal" button when suddenly, the power went out for no reason whatsoever. It was a really long entry, too. I guess I'll do my best to remember it all.

It started out with a conversation I had with my dad earlier today. I was talking about how the producer for the G&G album wanted us to add some porn sounds into one of our songs. My speech is in bold and my dad's is in italic.

So, Jason wants us to add some 'porn sex' sounds into one of our songs for the album. It would give a contrast with the storyline of the song.
Eh, that shouldn't be too hard. You guys have DVDs, you can just record them from there.
I don't have any porn DVDs.
What about the other guys?
If they did, I think I'd know by now.
Oh, well porn is easy to come by.
Pun intended, dad?

I'm totally on the ball today. Afterall, it is Christmas and there's absolutely nothing to do but sit here and retype an entry that got deleted. Happy Christmas to all who celebrate it! Pretty soon, I'll be eating my Chinese food and seeing a movie. I'm not sure what movie, yet.

I'm surprised that there's not a holiday to celebrate the circumcision of Jesus. Since Jesus was Jewish, his circumcision would happen 8 days after he was born, making that January 2nd. I think there should be a holiday. Anti-Jesus' Meat Cigar Day? Circumcision Day? Snip Snip Jesus Day?

It's official. January 2nd will hereby be called "Snip Snip, Jesus Day"

So, I just got back to Lansdale yesterday. I had been up at Millersville for awhile. We had a lot of Goodnight & Goodnight stuff to get in order. Lots of practicing and playing to do before we record the album. We just played a show the other night at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster. Brooke took some pictures of us playing.

I'll be home until the 29th, and then I go back for our 2 shows (Dec. 30th and Jan. 6th) and recording!!!! On January 2nd-5th, we'll be recording at Seventh Wave Studios in Harrisburg with Jason Rubal. After we record our 5 song EP, the source CD will be shipped out to John Golden in California for mastering. John Golden has mastered all of the Sonic Youth albums, and some albums from Primus, the Melvins, and Superchunk.

Wow, I was able to remember everything! Nice. Hopefully the power won't go out again as I'm about to hit the button...
