What the Fawkes!?

Ah, that fateful first week of November! Where each college campus is adorned with smashed pumpkins from the previous week's festivities and the cold really starts setting in.

This week has been the best I've had in a LONG time. I've removed myself from pre-existing stress by withdrawing from all of my classes but one. My remaining class is a film class which I have once a week. I worried that I would have failed my classes this semester because my attendance has been so irregular. I think I can pull through this semester with a decent grade in the film class, despite getting a D on the midterm.

Aside from classes, I've been practicing almost every day with Goodnight and Goodnight for our huge weekend of shows. We played last night as the headliner for the Thursday night Club de'Ville concert series, we play tomorrow night for the WIXQ-sponsored Ville After Dark event "Guy Fawkes Day" a.k.a. "What the Fawkes!? Fest" Sunday, we have a show in Lancaster at the American Legion Hall. It'll be our first non-campus show. And on Monday, we're supposed to be playing at a sorority party in return for free beer. Haha, that's such a rock star move, right there.

The show last night was exciting. I think we did really well. Whatever slight problems we had will definitely be worked out by the rest of the shows we have this weekend. What the Fawkes!? Fest is going to be great. It starts tomorrow night at 10 PM in the SMC multi purpose room. If anyone is in the remote area, I expect to see you there or else I'll be mad at you! Other bands playing include Andrew Weiler's band Lost Hope, Karen's band Hang in There Kitty, and a Lititz band called Hang the DJ. Have a good night with Goodnight and Goodnight, tonight!

In other non-music news, I've been feeling so incredibly back to normal. It's so refreshing! As much as I was opposed to being put on medication for this, I truly feel that it was a good decision.

I got to see Rose today. It totally made me happy. She made the situational humor of getting hit on by a gay guy even better! Thank you for coming to visit. Now I sleep!
