what a wonderful end to a mostly shitty day.
today started with not seeing leslie (bummer). i thought that she wasn't at school, which would've sucked. so i went to math, bio, english, history, then lunch. she was there! yay! so we spent lunch together until she had to go to sectionals, at which point i joined up with the femme crew. kept roz in check by pushing her down the hall, and went to fifth. owen and i watched the PMG tape and were immediately humbled. i walked leslie to her class, and my dad dropped me off at home. long story short, depressing practice with breakthrough soloing, giant steps, and talking about not talking.
THEN
Leslie and i spent the evening together while the rents were at a choir boosters meeting. we walked around the block, and hung out on the grass. we held each other, and it was grrreat. like woah. i went to kiss her, but i missed, and got her on the cheekish/corner-of-mouth area, but luckily, she picked up the ball and took care of business. we talked foreverabout how we wouldn't have ever expected to be "with" one another, but how perfect it all is. everything that was ever going wrong in life has just been outweighed by the joy i feel right now.
