I have recently acquired 1 (one) unit of "Surfer Alf Puppet Dealything"

Hooray for Alf.

Fun note: Playing my Wii instead of studying for tests seems to help. Must do that more often.

Fun note #2: (Acetone + NES cartridges) = (plasticy meltiness - marker on the back of the cartridge) [screw you, Tammy 72 for writing on the back of an otherwise beautiful cart]

I spent a bit of the weekend driving to Valley City, a small town that contains a mall. But this is no ordinary mall, it was an entire mall converted to be a large dollar store. It was surreal. Not a good sign of the local economy...

I was there to bring a friend out there to get a car. He got an older Cadillac. We acquired Huggy Bears , and were rolling in his Caddy with Huggy Bears, it was neato. I also some glow-in-the-dark robits (a.k.a. dinosaurs) and a surfboard-shaped mousepad ("FOR HARD SURFING", exclaims the package) and a metric fuckton of old games.

I got through cleaning about 1/2 of my NES games over the weekend. They must be cleansed or they do cannot see the glory of the cartridge slot of the NES. Of course the NES needs cleansing too (one of the bottom connector pins is a tad bit loose). After that, then it's on to SNES, then Genesis, then probably GB/GBC/GBA games. Then the next adventure is organizing and cataloging my collection. Meanwhile, I get to get up early on Saturdays and go game hunting for the next month and a half. Good times... Gotta catch 'em all!
