(no subject)
So Ive been in the south for officially one week. The trip so far has been more than amazing. I've got to see some of my family, relax, visit Alabama for the first time, and tube the Ichetucknee River today. I wish the rest of my life could be as carefree as this past week has been.
We're back in Jacksonville at my dad's house for the remainder of this week. We think we'll be heading back to the Northeast this coming Thursday to make it home in time for work this weekend. The 1300 mile drive, really wasnt that bad. We made it down here in about 24 hours, which is pretty slow. Hopefully we'll make better time going back. Shooting for 18 hours or so.
Anyhow, im going to enjoy these last few days out of contact with all human life, with the occasional leach of my dad's dial up connection here. My god, it frustrates me to no end.
