(no subject)
So this past 24 hours have been pretty interesting. They had another event at Circuit City for Actionlink so we decided to make a little extra money. Well we had to drive to Manchester, NH to do the event at a CC up there. Just for driving over 100 miles, we got $90 on top of our hourly wage, which was nice in itself.
Well, once we got there..it was kind of apparent that there were way too many people there for the work that needed to be done. I'd say a total of 18 people, to remerchandise just the TV's and home theater section. So my buddy Anthony called our manager, and he asked us if we wanted to drive to Endfield, CT..another 2 hour drive. So he agreed to pay us another $90 to drive, plus pay us our hourly wage while we actually drove. So we made a total of $180 just in drive time, plus our hourly wage.
Needless to say, I made more money in one night..than an entire two weeks at JWU, wowzas. Surprisingly today I feel okay even though Im running on only 2 hours of sleep or so. I can say now, Im starting to feel it. Im leaving work in 15 minutes or so, going home, and sleeping..probably until 5pm or so.
