While I like the color of the kitchen, sort of a parchment, I didn't think you could actually see it with the wall and trim the same color. I've added a semi-gloss white to all the kitchen trim for contrast, and cleanability. I've found a place for "In Wine There Is Truth" above the door, and installed bright white mini-blinds in both kitchen windows. With the peek at the back entryway, I've done the entrance and hallway in the same soft green as the future library.
