Bridge Dream
I had a very peculiar dream about bridge last night.
I was partnered with my dad, who is probably the least likely member of my family to start being enthusiastic about bridge. But we were playing anyway.
Third seat, I pick up:

and begin to perk up when partner opens 1C. After responding 1H, partner comes back with 5C. Oof. What the heck does partner have? A few kings and a singleton, probably. I figured that there's no good way to explore, so I blasted 7C.
Partner looks as if he's going to be sick. As the opening lead comes, I console him with "Don't worry, I have a few more tricks than you think I do."
Did it make? I don't know. That's when I woke up.
