for some reason, i enjoy posting from computers that aren't mine. So here goes. Today's location: My brother Nathan's computer in his room at my dad's house. I'm here because i am spending the night, and tomorrow morning (early) we are leaving for southern Illinois. We will be having thanksgiving near my grandma. She's my last remaining grandparent. Ben, my dad and I will be driving there, and according to my dad we will arrive around 1 PM. We will have 3 mp3 players between the 3 of us, so it'll be an interesting/good time.
Last night's dinner was a monstrous success. It didn't seem like it would be, as i burnt some of the chocolate. But the mousse came out well, and the bruschetta was good (the best part, in my opinion), and the pasta was yummy. The coolest part was that so many people came. The final guest list, throughout the night, was Me, Bridget, Astrid, Matt (her boyfriend), Steph, Ben (my brother), Becky, Becky's sister Sarah, and Matt (my brother). The conversation was pretty quiet until Matt Balson showed up. Then it was nonstop hilarity. Overall, it was wonderful to get to cook that whole meal with Bridget. I loved it, and I look forward to doing it again. Hopefully less expensive next time :) So after that Matt, Bridget and I sat around and had a good intelligent conversation, which was nice. Then Bridget left, and I went to bed, essentially. Today, I woke up later than normal, and then did laundry, washed some dishes (cuz Matt did most of it, thanks Matt!). Also, Matt and I went to a bunch of stores. I bought two new cd's today: !Hero, the Rock Opera and Sanctus Real - Fight The Tide. I'm excited to listen to them, but I'll have to wait until I get back to my computer. Then I saw the Incredibles. it was really pretty good. Then dinner at Red Robin.
I'm happy with how this break has gone, and I'm glad it's not over, but I'm looking forward to going to school again and seeing all my friends, and spending more time (including the ride there) with my bridget! You're my dream, babe :)
And I can't help but say how thankful I am to God for all He has provided to me, and I know that things are growing in that direction too. I hope to continue growing in boldness, and I look forward to all that's ahead for me.
Signing out...
