In what some might call a coincidence, as I'm reading an article that quotes 2 Corinthians 11:3-5
"But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough."

Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day comes on, which states...
" I'm the son of rage and love
The Jesus of suburbia
From the bible of none of the above
On a steady diet of soda pop and Ritalin
No one ever died for my sins in hell
As far as I can tell
At least the ones I got away with

And there's nothing wrong with me
This is how I'm supposed to be
In a land of make believe
That don't believe in me"

This has nothing to do with Green Day, but their lyrics help bring a good point when contrasted with that Bible passage. Despite the fact that Jesus was one way. He could not have been as we claim him and as non-believers claim him. As one person, though He was God, he could only have been as he was. But we see all kinds of descriptions of Jesus, don't we? And there is a "version" of Jesus which is comfortable. And he teaches what that song says, that this is how we're supposed to be and there is nothing wrong with us. But that is not the Jesus that Paul preached.
