You know you're from Alabama...

1. You measure distance in hours.

2. You've ever had to switch from "heat" to "A/C" in the same day.

3. Stores don't have bags; they have sacks.

4. Stores don't have shopping carts; they have buggies. (I call them carts. ;-;)

5. You see a car running in the parking lot at the store with no one in it,
no matter what time of the year.

requires 6 pages for sports. (I don't even read the news paper, but I know this is true.)

17. You find 90 degrees F "a little warm." (But I'm always cold.)

18. You know all four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer, and

4) You remember Hixson/Rt. 153 BEFORE the Super Walmart and the retail madness when there were houses there....
5) You know that Marshal Mize Ford will beat your best deal, REGARDLESS!
6) You took your prom pictures in front of the Walnut Street bridge/Coolidge Park
7) Your school took field trips to the Creative Discovery Museum.
8) You secretly enjoyed the heck out of the Creative Discovery Museum.
9) Your school took you on field trips to the TN Valley Rail Road Museum that was kinda cool if they used a steam train
10) You've thought to yourself that the aquarium looks freakin sick in the skyline at night
11) You know that going to Hamilton Place on the day after Thanksgiving is pretty much the worst idea since the Japanese picking a fight with the US during WW2.
