I just got home from watching Lion King 3D. {First time I've watched the entire movie in one sitting.}
Man, there were so many people crying. I think the parents forgot how the old Disney movies are. They will say die and death and kill and people {animals} will die. Some of those kids sounded absolutely terrified, and the fact that their parents were crying as well probably didn't help. :U
I still loved the movie, though. I may not have seen the entire thing before, but it's still my childhood- I can still quote all the lyrics to all the songs and I know pretty much every part, just from seeing it in bits and pieces over the years.
Lion King is the only Disney movie I can think of that doesn't have Disney Dead Mom Syndrome. It has Disney Ifuckedupyourdadsohardandnowheisdead Syndrome.
You know what I want to see remade? Oliver and Company. That is my favourite Disney movie of all time, you guys have no idea.
+I've noticed that Sigur Rós has been used so often now. There was an ad for a movie {We Bought A Zoo, or something like that}, and it played Hoppípolla. I may have been a bit of a fangirl. {Ohoh, that's Sigur Rós! I have this song on my Zune! It's Hoppípolla!}
