(no subject)
well, news as of last night, at around 1 am was that one of my uncles in south africa had had a heart atack, and that they were having dificulty getting in touch with my dad for over a month or so...
while I was out working today, this information had been refined, but when I got home about half an hour ago, I found out that my uncle died at around 8 pm our time. My dad is tracking people down in SA and talking with family now. it's around 7:30 am there now, so people are starting to wake up, those not already awake over this that is.
My dad isn't going to be heading out there this time. it's too far for him to travel these days, and a 21 hour flight realy will take a lot out of you. so we are turning to the person who has the most contact with all of the differing parts of the clan out there... my dad's brother's ex wife. She's the only one who has stayed in touch with all the different parts of the family. yes, my entire family is bad at this comunication thing... god, I think I can't even spell the damned word... is that right? comunication? one M or two?
anyways. we're sending flowers via my aunt... er... ex aunt joey.
