The audio is quiet as first as Yukari fiddles with the device. She's never seen it before she'd arrived at Vatheon, nor does she know why it's shaped like a starfish, but nevertheless, it intrigues her, and she can't help but mess with it. Oh, I see. She grins. I usually don't mind it, although being submerged in it kind of makes me nervous. Like what if the barrier breaks one day, or something...

She stops herself from going on though, knowing she sounds ridiculous.

...from what I hear though, it seems like we're the ones powering the barrier.

I've heard something similar, that we help power the barrier. It makes sense to me, but at the same time... the Lamufao coral strikes me more as a sentient creature than the marine life I'm used to.

It does feel rather different, although that's more of a gut feeling for me than anything. Sometimes, I can feel energy resonating from it, and it's... a little hard to ignore. I haven't touched it yet, though.

She pauses for a moment.

You think it and the barrier are connected, then? You seem like you're into that stuff... water, and marine life.

I'm an aficionado, of sorts. I was told they were connected - the barrier and the coral - but I'd like to learn more about that, for sure, as I'd like to become a marine biologist after university.

She smiles at him. She thinks about school, about the things her teachers lectured about, about all the days she spent, reviewing and studying...

I... I actually hadn't decided yet. What I wanted to get into, I mean, once I got into college. Before I got sucked in here...

You still have time! I'm about to start university, so I've been in cram school for awhile now deciding what I wanted my occupation to be.

If you're interested, I thought about starting a biology club to study that sort of thing, actually. I doubt I'll get very far by myself, even if I do know a little bit about marine life.

That's true, but... it's not like I can get an education, while I'm here.

She ponders the idea of this club of his, and although her education was still limited on the topic, it would at least be something to do, to keep her mind working.

A Biology Club, huh? I... I don't really know how much help I would be. But if you need members, you know how to reach me.

She looks at her SFC, realizing that it actually feels more comfortable to use than before. She really needs to personalize the darn thing, though. It looks so boring.

She ponders this for a moment. She hasn't actually been to the library yet, but she has wanted to ever since she learned of its existence. She places her hand on her chin, wondering if this would be as good as learning from a teacher in the classroom; but since it's better than nothing, she supposes it would have to do.

W-well, is there some sort of an official process or something to get started? I honestly haven't heard of any other clubs, since I came here so... I don't really know...

As she speaks, she wonders if there'd be any interest in an archery club...

Ah actually my would-be co-founder and I haven't even made an announcement seeking members yet. I simply wanted to let you know, Yukari-chan. A little bit of socializing seems like it could be good in a place like this.

Even if she is horrible at making friends sometimes, opening up to people. She chuckles a little, and then looks at him with curiosity.
