The audio is quiet as first as Yukari fiddles with the device. She's never seen it before she'd arrived at Vatheon, nor does she know why it's shaped like a starfish, but nevertheless, it intrigues her, and she can't help but mess with it. She sighs; if only Fuuka were around, surely she'd be able to figure it out in a heartbeat. But she supposed

Yukari's face is red now, as she looks at the girl with the short blue hair. She's not sure how to react, or even if she can see her at all, but she is nervous all the same.
U-umm, yeah, I guess so... I'm usually a little better at things like this but...
She pauses for a moment, studying her.
H-hey, I don't think I've seen you... you know, around Vatheon... yet...

Ah, probably not. I spend most of my time in the library. I'm Ami Mizuno.

She chuckles a little. It was her favorite place to study, back at home... her own world. She wondered if she'd ever see it again.
I had no idea. I... haven't really had a chance to explore this place yet. I'll have to check it out.
She pauses for a moment, finally remembering something important.
Oh, right. I'm Yukari.

She's surprised at first at how quickly her offer came. Truth be told, she hates relying on people... but she's been doing nothing but it since she's gotten here, so she supposes one more couldn't hurt. A new friend, at any rate, would be... nice...even though she still was apprehensive. She timidly accepts, rationalizing even as she does so.
I-I guess I'd like that. A look at the library, at least, could be helpful... I mean, it could have some clues to getting back to our own worlds, right?
...although people like you who have been here long before I have would have found them already, Yukari thinks to herself. Well, there went that brilliant piece of logic. But nevertheless...

It's a very large library. It's bound to have something. And it's simply not possible to have read all of these books in the short months I've been here.

Well... I guess it'll be nice to have a large selection of books to read either way, now that I think about it. After all, it's not like I'll be going to school here...
She thinks of Mitsuru-senpai for a moment and scratches her head a little, chuckling.
And I have a friend who'll kill me if I let my studies slip.
Come to think of it, she's not sure which building the library is. She wonders if she still has that map laying around...

[Ami can't help but giggle a little. She knows that feelng.]

Her mind immediately goes to Junpei; she laughs a little, too. Oh yes- she could relate all right. Always goofing off. She always did think he was a horrible influence on Minato... although he eventually did grow up a little.
Anyway, I uh... I've got a map here somewhere, of the city. You can see her kind of rummaging around, her hands off screen. I'm gonna grab it and be on my way. You... you don't mind, if I join you?
She smiles, looking at her. She seems so natural in that setting, like she grew up in the library or something.
I gotta admit, you look pretty comfortable there on your own.

[She's comfortable, but the distinct lack of...people is a little unnerving.]

Yukari glances off screen at the empty dorms--everyone is out and about, doing something or another. But it looks like she's finally found that map she was looking for, at least. She's looking at it, nodding with some confidence that she knows where she's going. It's easy, if she uses the Coral as a reference point.
I'll be there soon... I hope. Erm, what section are you in?
She looks in vain at the video feed to try to see a sign or any indication of where in the library she might be...
(( OOC: Would you like to start a new log, or just keep going here with Action? :) I am cool with either! ))
