Its been a strange con, enjoyable but strange. I dont know why but there was just something weird about the whole experience this time. Maybe its because I actually watched some anime but meh I dunno. All in all it was an enjoyable weekend. Seeing people I hadnt seen or spoken to in ages was great, it was nice to see you all.
Warwick Arts Centre was fantastic, i really cant praise it enough. Classy is about the only word I can think of the sum the venue up.
Friday night was the classic pissup mingle event catching up with old friends whilst reaching increasing stages of drunkennessness, great laugh. For some reason I cant actually seem to recall very much of that night. hmm.
On Saturday I didnt actually feel too bad waking up, no hangover, well at least nothing a shower didnt cure. To be honest the whole con was very subdued all of saturday right through the early evening. Managed to catch Appleseed too, which was extremely disapointing, it was very pretty but also very dull, nevermind eh?
The pub quiz was also quite a laugh surprisingly, we even managed to come third (Jack_Ketch, Ivan, Sash, spoon, Hito and myself) although to be fair I wasnt really much help ^^; still good effort I thought xD.
Saturday night turned into pretty damn good, with Keds and a guitar with mood music and singalongs :) the way it should be, relaxed, chilled out and just nice. Keds managed to fuck his finger up pretty bad but refused to stop playing. Ive just cleaned all the blood off the guitar and man was there alot. The inside is actually now blood-stained. Adds character to the guitar I think xD great stuff.
Anyway, enough mumblings, im not around now for a week or so. So I'll chat to you all soon hopefully. Tjhanks for a nice weekend everyone.
