The Seventh Tower Series

Has anyone of you read Garth Nix's The Seventh Tower series? I've been looking for other people who also like this-correct me if you think otherwise-rather little-known series, but to no avail as of yet.
I'm currently saving for Nix's Keys to the Kingdom series. I, unfortunately, haven't read a single one in the series and I haven't found someone who owns a book in the series to borrow from.
