for the stock, would using a fake background work if the texture used was something like a landscape or the sky. like maybe this or this?

Yes- although, I don't count those as textures. That's one of those iconrants I have. LOL!

hahaha. idk, they were in texture packs I downloaded so i consider them textures simply b/c idk what else to call them. I'm new to making icons so my terminology is always way off XD
