Pros:
- Jack & I would each have our own room
- Much bigger house
- Finished basement
- Grandma's funny and tells lots of good stories
- No competition for the computer
- Closer to Jack's before/after school care
- Grandma has more time to play with Jack
- I could really help her out around the house
Cons:
- No internet (yet), and if I got it, I'd have to pay for it
- Grandma is old (78), and Jack is... um, boisterous (6)
- I'd have to pay for groceries
- Jack isn't digging it - he'd rather live with Nana
- Grandma is reluctant to allow much rearranging/redecorating of the bedrooms
- I'd have to help her out around the house *grin*
*sigh* I don't know. I want to do the right thing, but I have no idea what the right thing is. I like spending time with Grandma, and I think she likes having someone around. I just don't know if having Jack there would be too much for her. He's been pretty mouthy, and he's so sensitive. They were playing cards today and he started crying because she was winning. I know he's just a kid. I keep telling myself that. It's just so frustrating.
In other news, I should have a job offer next week. And Jack starts first grade tomorrow.
