Beginning of an adventure

You find yourself on the Iyanden craftworld, outside a structure of great importance which is increased even more so by it being the residence of the Farseer Hy'alteh. You were beckoned here by him via the weblink used by the more pyschically developed of your kind to communicate. As you stand outside the building, you hear a voice speak that only ( Read more... )

I take a very deep breath and step inside. I am a rather worried about this encounter, as naturally Akaruyeh, the Farseer who oversaw my first mission, will have talked to him and will have not failed to mention our argument, which I assume was out of order.

As you enter the building and make your way up to the residence of the farseer, you find yourself into his room very quickly. The farseer's room is large and feels very open, no one could ever feel trapped in such a place. Various pieces of art adorn the walls, to the trained eye they all appear to have similar methods used apon them as though they were all painted by the same artist. In a chair at the far end of the room, sits Hy'alteh, resplendent in just a dark red gown with wide sleves and a black trim on the bottom and on the sleves. His hair, for an eldar, is short and tidy except for a single band of long hair that runs from the base of his skull down his back in a pony tail. As you enter, he stands and opens his arms.

"Goo day to you my child, i am glad you could make it. I have been awaiting your arrival most eagerly for i have something of great import to talk to you about. Please take a seat" he gestures to a chair that is positioned opposite him as he sits himself back down again.

"Good day farseer Hy'alteh. It is very kind of you to see me in person" I respond sounding a lot more secure than I am feeling and whilst sitting down I try to steal a glance at the paintings in an attempt to figure out who the artist in quesion might be and to qualm the feelings of impending doom in my stomach.
Then I give my full attention to the man oposite.

You don't recognise the works or the artist of them, you begin to suspect that they are all of a little known artist or perhaps the farseer himself ( ... )

"If you believe that I could be of assistance to our craftworld that way, then I shall be honoured to fullfill your wishes."

"Excellant. You must travel via the webway to the system that is known as the Urellian system to the Mon-Keigh. Amongst our kin it has no name. Where you will come across the planet Tsara, one of the maiden worlds. The mon-keigh have settled there and have so far used the planet for producing food for themselves, it has not been damaged too far, in fact for their barbarous kind, they have done little to change it save changing the use of the land. On the planet you will arrive through one of the warp gates our kind use. There you will meet a ranger by the name of Klieth, he is our....presence on the planet. He will guide you from there. Do you have any questions my child?"

"What is the nature of this artefact?"

"The nature of the artefact is somewhat unclear to us, we believe it to contain within its shell a greater daemon who is in the service of Slaneesh. As the world is populated by the mon-keigh and their ignorant ways, we cannot risk them finding this artifact and opening, lest it would mean a large scale war on three fronts on the planet. There is no way that the humans would understand us in our fight."

"Your wish is my command, Farseer Hy'alteh. Please send me anywhere you see fit."

"Good my child" he stands up "Now, go forth and gather up what resources you need and then proceed to the webway gate outside of the Ul'thea Dire Avenger sanctuary, i shall meet you there" he makes his way out and leads you out of the building, back onto the streets.

So what do you want to take with you?

(*finally lol*)

You will need to pick up any weapons that you wish to take that you don't already own. Might be worth picking up some amrour, including perhaps a force field, which is necessary for a Warlock. I'll look in the book and find the most appropriate one for you. You will also probably want some plasma grenades which are incredibly useful and very Eldar weapons. I can't think of much else to take with you. Would you want to take any followers with you? Aspect warriors, pets and so on. But no wraithlords i'm afraid....
