The Plan
So, here's the plan:
I will apply to New College to start Fall 2006. My lease is up May 2006. Prior to this, I will sell all of my belongings except for what I can fit into my car - starting with my backpack, followed by my books, movies, music, then clothes. I will then embark upon a road trip around the country, visiting friends, family, and various places. If I get into New College, the trip will end there (Sarasota, FL). If not, then I will end in Southern California, where I will live with my brother for a while. I like California much more than Florida, and I already have a place to live (For over a year, I've had an open invitation to move in with my brother, giving him at least a few months notice so he can find a two bedroom place), friends (I've already spent enough time with my brother's group that they're often asking when I'm going to come out again), and a job to start as soon as I arrive, until I find another I'd prefer (starting pay $10-$20/hr.). As nice as all that is, I'd prefer to go to New College. My brain has been rotting, and I need a change of pace before I become stuck in the muck forever.
I know I haven't been updating much, but if any of you read this, please leave a comment so that I know there's a point to posting. Otherwise, I'll just keep to my personal journal.
