Hey I'm alive... even though I haven't been around. It's been a long long week. Just a quick hi! Hey how's the writing going btw?

Knowing your love of adverbs.......slowly, tortuously, agonizingly, painfully... You get the general idea. I've been spending a lot of time staring at a blank screen. Ye God, I hate re-writes.
You've been busy, what news of the book? Is it safely off to the tender loving hands of the publisher?

LOL No infact I've got a note from my instructor asking for my last assignment since it's 2 weeks late :)

See when you spend your weekends going to football games and playing a school teacher...you don't get much writing done and work this week has been crazy...add in a funeral and well my instructor can just wait. I'll finish it up this weekend. Get it in the mail monday. Then start printing the entire manuscript. Hopefully with in the next month I'll be sending it out.

In the mean time I've been brainstorming for the next idea :)

Ahhh adverbs hehehe Yeah I REALLY don't like them. And I get your revising dread...I know the feeling.

Don't get too discourage. If you want send what you have and I'll read it and give you some comments and maybe that'll help get you on a role?

That's the problem, I have nothing to send. I've gutted the darn thing and every rewrite has been, well to call it crap would be defaming crap. The dialogue is flat, the descriptions are muddy and the characters might work for a Saturday morning cartoon. On a happy note however, there are eight chapters of it.
Don't mind me, I'm just having a little author's freak out this morning, I'm shelving it for the day and I'll look at it tomorrow. Maybe I can be less critical then, everyone who has read what I have likes it, I'm just being hard to please today.
That was a lovely tribute to your Aunt Regina, by the way. I wish I could have known her. Sounds like a lady who the world will truly miss. *hug*

Well if you want to send what you had before you gutted :) I can read that too :) Just ask if you want me to read anything :) I'm going to back to edit my other novel so I'll send chapters once they're editted if you want. It's just too bad to send as is :)

Of course first I have to finish that pesky chapter of my other novel. I'm so out of it heheh I think it's going around :) Scientist have yet to come up with a cure and all they say we can do is wait it out...

Thanks, my Aunt was a special lady. She'll be missed.

OH NO! You mean writer's block is contagious! Eeks! That's it I am staying so far away from Patricia Cornwell.
Actually, I've been reading her new Kay Scarpetta novel and I realized a while ago that my characters sound just like hers. Guess I'd better shelve the writing until later today and finish the novel first, so I don't try to rewrite it.
I'm ashamed to send what it looked like before I gutted it. It read like it was written by a crackhead and edited by a gorilla on Speed using a chainsaw. Like I said you can't libel garbage by saying it stinks.
It's a great plot idea, I just have to work on the execution
