The BLOG of DOOM!
So yeah, and then stuff happened.
I hate to rant, but I have to. Anyways, one thing that really gets me are some of the students at the food service. (KISE) Some of these morons take two or three sammiches from the window, even when it is busy. I mean really, let's examine this. For example.
I put 20 burgers and 12 grilled cheezes down on the grill. in 2 the Cheezes are done. To the Window.
then the burgers are done 3 minutes later.
Anyways, that puts us at 32 sammiches. Students A,B,C,D,E come to the window. They each take a burger and a GC. that leaves us with 22. 15 and 7 respectively.
Student F comes up and takes 3 burgers.
G takes 2 GC
H takes one of each
I takes 3 burgers and 1 GC
that leaves us with 8 and 3. Bear in mind that this is in the space of 3 minutes.
so lets look at it a bit differently. Say it is lunchtime, and there are 300 students. The food is not a good variety, and not very popular, so they naturally come to the Grill. okay. Same Scenario with burgers and GC. I have moved 90 to 120 burgers in the space of a half hour. and I guarantee that at least 80% of the students have taken at least two items.
BUT WHAT REALLY PISSES ME OFF IS THE FACT: there could be 15 students in the line. there could be 25 sammiches in the window. they will run out before we even get to the 12th student. People have no common courtesy anymore. All they care about is their own consumption. They couldn't see that there are other students waiting. the window usually is empty after 5 minutes and in that time, I might have been able to put more burgers down. I have run out of 25 burgers before I can even get 25 more onto the grill to cook! FECKIN PIGS!!!!
Sorry about that.
Anyways, class has been progressing much the same as last semester. Whee.... I want to be done, but I have at least a year left. I could always change to a basic Music degree and graduate. Last ditch effort.
Gamer's club is pregressing much the same way as before. Advertising is created, but it isn't getting up. Ben was supposed to put it up. about 2 weeks ago. I want him to do that ASAP, but I have told him that twice. I specifically told people not to take posters if they were going to sit in someone's room, on the floor. Argh.
My FFRPG is going well too. there has been somewhat of a SNAFU in the game, but in a story intensive way. Also, the parties seem to be working in tandem. Oddly, they both ended up getting pursued at the end of the sessions. This is fun. Also, playing with some of the character's/player's attitudes is quite entertaining.
I have a question to all of you readers of my little BLOG. Should I buy a new XBOX or not?
Positives:
3 BOX HALO!
No disc errors(or at least less)
Compatibility with current games (Old Box doesn't like them)
Negatives:
$180
Have to transfer old save games (Requires another purchase $20)
Have to eventually get rid of old xbox.
You help me decide.
Also, as a completely different topic. I (or shall I say the Gamer's Club) owes Carissa something for helping us with our banner. I wonder what she would like?
BTW, new gamer's slogan - Gamer's Club: slay Boredom, Gain Experiences (damn, The Paul is a genius)
