So - goat milk crepes are whiter and seem to cook more quickly. Substituted both goat butter and goat milk in the standard recipe.
Very yummy in any case. No real flavour difference that I noticed, though perhaps a little more buttery ( but that might be using goat milk (whole) vs my standard 1% cow milk.
Cheese plates were lots of fun and my last batch of chevre was a HUGE hit I think ( if speed of dispatch is any indication). Great texture. Like fluffy whipped cream
Particularly good cheeses on the board. Fun to have one whole board of goat and sheep cheeses.
Guests seem sufficiently suffunsified;)
